Don't think he's been accused of diving. He has a habit of putting himself between the ball and the opponent and then flopping to the ground when contact is made. He won loads of free kicks this way last season. The issue now seems to be that this season referees have spotted this and have tended to wave play on.

The problem I have with Slattery is his habit of 'initiating contact'. He was clean through in the recent game against St Mirren but seemed more intent on making sure he was brought down than getting a shot away. Later on, he shrugged off a couple of their players who were trying to foul him and went on a run. He's got that ability in him but appears content to take the lazy option too often.

I did hear that the Taylor Swift thing was put in deliberately because her devoted followers apparently refer to her as "Mother" so I suppose it could spark some kind of Internet search thingy which might point people towards "Motherwell". Whether it's true or not I don't know but it's a good story if it isn't.

Or vastly underrated by some. We live in the social media world these days where every player can only be ranked as brilliant or crap. Nuance died with Twitter. It's amazing how all these useless players are so easily spotted by the fans, but manage to fool coaches and managers who have spent their entire adult lives in the professional game and whose livlihood depends on fielding their best available team every week.
