I'm just over the moon for once that I gave my season ticket away to my brother's pal and we won! (Still got a broken nose and two black eyes). My mum doesn't go to games these days apart from cup games but she phoned me to tell me it was four nil then I phoned her to tell her it was five nil. Good times. I actually started crying when i saw on twitter that we were two nil up. That's just me though3 points

Can we all just take a minute to appreciate just how important a player Spittal actually is for us ? He literally plays a part in every single goal3 points

Whilst it would be nice to win tonight in style and by a barrowload, a single goal win would do us just fine. A fluke goal, a blatantly offside goal, a deflection, an OG, a soft penalty....it doesn't matter.3 points

I see the usual suspects are missing. They must be absolutely raging they can't come on and rant like usual.2 points

We just thrashed a team in our own league 5-0, there's not a hope in hell we could do what?2 points

Debut goal for a shite striker, signed in a panic, by a manger oot his depth.......2 points

First time I've felt this all season but the referee has been pretty good so far.2 points

WTF is Bair playing at??? From the BBC Posted at 20:2420:24 GOAL! Motherwell 3-0 Ross County Theo Bair (penalty) Bair gets his goal! Cool as you like he sends Liam Kelly diving to his left and sticks the ball in the other corner. Six goals in five league games for Theo Bair. This is a mauling.2 points

Special mention to Davor for running three hundred thousand miles and covering every blade of grass tonight. He's tidy and feisty and does most of the vital grunt work.1 point

I had a feeling that was coming tonight. The performances have been building towards that result tonight. I have to say, I have been really impressed with the way Kettlewell has managed his way through this last 6 months. The low point was definitely RC away but that apart we were never being completely overrun by teams and since that low point there has been a very steady, almost methodical, incremental improvement week by week that built up to the performance this evening. He has spotted a player in Theo Bair and has managed him really well despite the pressure the team has been under. Delighted for Spittal tonight. Really honest, capable player who has clearly suffered from the teams loss of form. It has been a long, hard Autumn/ Winter but I really believe this team have turned a corner. 4th place anyone?1 point

Great performance tonight. Could easily have been 10. Big Bevis to rcb has been a tactical masterstroke. Get the big man a new contract.1 point

Plenty of options tonight, Bair, Spittal, McGinn and Gent all impressed. The obvious choice would be Spittal, but I voted for Davor, he is becoming a very important fixture in the middle of the park and never stopped running all night.1 point

One of the County fans saying, no point in sacking him, cos we'll probably just replace him with Derek Adams.1 point

halliday does a lot of pickpocketing the ball in and around the midfield , and reads the game well1 point

Tell us next time you get that feeling GazzyB - will be sure to tune in .1 point

What a performance from the team deserved 5-0 win I’d funnily enough joked with my friend at the match we’d win 6-0 guess I wasn’t far off. Spittal gave the best performance from a midfielder in a motherwell jersey in years well done to him.1 point

Doesn’t get many mentions but I think Davor has been very good recently1 point

I think when slats is on his game hes excellent to be fair. I personally hope to see him in the claret and amber again1 point

I think we need some subs to fire us up a bit again and make sure we are still winning at full time !1 point

We’ve had some good performances so far tonight, I’m pleased with Paton, really tidy in possession and putting in a proper shift.1 point

See what happens when we shoot in the box. I just hope we keep it up in the second half as they’re there for the taking. Would be good to cook some venison here.1 point

Good thing we signed five young full backs on loan this season so we can keep playing O'Donnell.1 point

Exactly, we really need to turn those draws into wins. We fully deserved the three points against Hibs, St Johnstone and Killie but that's kind of been the story of our season where we have lacked that bit of quality to get us over the line. Here's hoping tonight under the lights provides us with a precious victory.1 point

Imrie just been awarded the manager of the month curse. Pretty confident we'll pump them on Friday now. Disclaimer: this post may not age well 😁1 point

Bang on. A win provides some breathing room. A defeat would drag us right into the play-off battle. Neither result would define our season as yet, but it's pretty clear which option we'd all prefer.1 point

Your post was fine, there was no personal attack. You posted your opinion, which is perfectly acceptable. Not everyone is going to agree with each other, but as long as it's kept within a certain level of respect and decent discussion then there isn't a problem. This is a football forum. It's going to get heated, and there will be a robust exchange of views. The admin and moderators keep an eye on what's being said, and if it crosses the line we deal with it.1 point

That's certainly true. However undersoil heating didn't seem to damage the previous surface. No something else is going on but I don't know what. I'm no groundsman.1 point

If you choose to use good performances and draws as indicators of success, that's fine, but it doesn't achieve much in a points-based league where playing good stuff is not applicable. Good stuff ≠ three points. I measure success against victories achieved (or lack thereof) in the context of points gained from draws across a sustained period of significance. The current and relevant form period that I use stands at nineteen games and one victory, and I'm afraid to say that the good stuff played amongst the unbeaten games you refer to hasn't (or won't) earned us 18 points. That's how I choose to look at things, and that's also fine.1 point

Victory won't save us, defeat won't kill us, but still a huge game in this wonky league. Level on points in the play-off place, or 6 points above it and probably 1 point off 6th, for 24 hours at least. 3-11 point

The clubs on a 'fire the manager cycle' - Aberdeen, Hibs, ourselves haven't really solved any of their issues. It's almost as if it's done to appease the fans rather than address the real issues.1 point

I'm flying for the Superbowl on the 10th, glad the BBC read my email to get it moved to a sensible time1 point

As good a first half as we’ve seen all season , and what about that wee Rangers supporting media darling Halliday? Part of a midfield that’s playing really well0 points
-
True, he was likely under the impression that he was coming to Fir Park to play total football, with a wee bit of tika taka on the side, right? Sold a bill of goods for sure.0 points
