  1. I don't think extending him's a good idea, not with those hamstrings.

  2. Yeah, and we'll probably double season ticket prices, replace the pitch with shitty plastic, paint the stairs with paint that never dries, and put marbles in the pies and pish in the drinks. Probably.

  4. Livi know they are down so why go to the cost of sacking him when he's done a great job over the years and may bring them back up.

  5. Exactly. Beating Dunfermline 5-0 is no mean feat but beating Ross County 5-0 is an even bigger achievement. Let them worry about us.

  7. Given only 2 weeks ago we started a game with 1 striker on the pitch & no recognised strikers on the bench then i have no issue with Shaw being here as an option. I would be very surprised if he is considered a starter, but as a squad and bench filler then he is better than heehaw

  8. I'm not sure what kind of player is going to be sold on coming in as a third-choice striker at Motherwell. Our options are limited there.

  9. We are actually unbeaten in the games โ€œSuper Oli โ€œ has startedโ€ฆโ€ฆ.the rest have mainly been 70/80 mins plus when we were chasing games Obviously SK agin feels he is someone he can work on

  10. Tbf they did increase season tickets, fuck the park up and put stupid railings on the stairs the last couple of summers so you never know. I don't use the pie stalls but people around me seem to love them and can't go 25 minutes without one so they must be decent.

  11. Absolutely. Mark Ferrie looks nowhere near ready to step into the first team, even as a sub. He only had very limited gametime at Stenhousemuir. He may be a good prospect and hopefully, we'll develop him, but he needs time. Oli Shaw has some nice touches and had a couple of assists but he doesn't look to be a finisher. Something strange about the loan deal,as has been alluded to. As things stand, the Bair is our No 1, with Vale looking to be a decent No 2, albeit on limited evidence. He looked sharp and pacy on Tuesday and took his goal well. Defenders won't push him around either.

  12. I wouldn't disagree with that. Just a shame to see all the eff offs under the post on twitter. Folk are human at the end of the day.

  13. He had started to get better and had notched a couple of assists as well. His finishing is questionable to say the least. Would like to hope that he will stop being booed on to the park though and hopefully he does contribute, but he shouldn't be getting a chance to feature ahead of Vale as things stand.

  14. It at least gives us a bit of cover, as we were looking very light. Personally I donโ€™t think heโ€™s anywhere near as bad as some others on here, and with a few more mins may offer us something.

  15. Not bad for a team that were getting relegated a few weeks ago

  16. Completely agree and over quite a long period of time as well. I think it's clear the criticism that's been dished out to some players has affected their performances. He's been booed coming on to the park ... No need. Ps for clarification... This is just my opinion.

  17. Another who gets it far too tight when team struggling. He's got 25 scotland caps for a reason.

  18. I guess it depends on what you mean by "stick." For example, whenever I was in the stadium watching the team, I never booed the guy. Or anyone on our team actually, as it's never productive. I always showed him support when the team were playing. I guess all I did was question his signing and what he'd shown to that point to warrant being signed. But I always said that I'd love nothing more than him coming in and being one of the few who take his stats and turn them on their head. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it really is a beautiful thing.

  19. I prefer 3 wins in last 5 competitive games and 2 draws

  20. Can we all just take a minute to appreciate just how important a player Spittal actually is for us ? He literally plays a part in every single goal

  21. Have you ever watched any cup game in any country at any time? One of the ideas behind the competition is to give teams in lower leagues a chance to win one-off games against higher league teams. It's part of the attraction. Take a scan through all the FA Cup results from this season and see how many teams have beaten opposition 2, 3 and 4 tiers above. A Scottish Championship team (on their home turf) in 4th place beating a Scottish Premiership team in 8th place on would be one of the least surprising results in the history of the cup. Can you imagine how boring it would be if the higher placed team won every tie in the Cup? Wouldn't even be worth playing - they could just go straight to an OF final every season. I know you feel the need to post something negative every match, but that was a poor effort. 3 - 1 to the silent a-sash-ins.
