  1. True, but your point surely has its limits.
  2. Take your point, but if it turns out we're signing 30+ year olds from Scottish League One in the summer, you can probably write next season off.
  3. It's the chokey for you! 😆
  4. No really. I just made up a more inspiring rumour to cheer Steelboy up. I mean, surely the Scougall one's pish too - a guy approaching 32 who's spent the last 4 years at Alloa. The only possible way that would make any sense would be if we get relegated. Are these names coming from any reliable source, or just some randoms online?
  5. I heard we're after Turnbull and Campbell on loan.
  6. Genuinely interested - who came out with that on radio?
  7. They certainly know whether season ticket sales have been increasing or decreasing year by year. If it's the latter, freezing prices might be an attempt to hold onto existing fans, as much as attract new ones. Plenty of folk on here have talked about jacking it in recently.
  8. It would be nice to think Bair acknowledges we've kick started his career and he'll sign an extension, if only to up any transfer fee a wee bit. But his goals have helped keep us up in a season where it looked like we were in big trouble, so maybe he feels we're about even. Who knows? It's pretty certain Kettlewell will want want to keep Bair, but if an offer comes in and the board feel it's good enough, it won't be his decision.
  9. Where are we getting the £4million from?
  10. Yeah, I'm sure we'll be fine too. The chances of both County and St Johnstone suddenly hitting form at this late stage are slim, to say the very least. No need for us to make it more interesting than it should be, though.
  11. I want a unicorn for my birthday. If Bair doesn't sign an extension, he goes, before or during next season.
  12. It's an important game. If we lose while Ross County win at Livi, the season's definitely not over.
  13. Taking £58K per week as the correct total for wages, we currently have a first team squad of around 24 players listed, so that averages out at just under £2.5K per player. That doesn't include the development guys like Wells, Ferrie, and Ross, assuming their wages are part of the 58K total.
  14. And no one will offer it. If he's refused to sign a new contract Hearts will have to take what they can get, unless they're happy to settle for hee haw.
  15. Who has offered £5million for Shankland?
  16. We disagree on how this should/will go, that's all. No need for anyone to shut up.
  17. I'm not sure what Miller's decision has to do with Bair's plans. And that extension won't stop him being sold when a decent offer comes in. There's absolutely no chance Lennon Miller will still be here next season unless something goes badly wrong with his career.
  18. Yeah, we can decide to keep him, but right now he's a sellable asset, so he can't be allowed to walk for nothing. As it stands, that means we'll have to accept the price someone is willing to pay, either in the summer or next January.
  19. Problem is, his worth isn't up to us, the buyers will decide that. If he is willing to sign a new contract, fair enough. Otherwise, the clock is already ticking and selling in January would greatly reduce our chances of finding a decent replacement.
  20. The value of any player is generally determined according to who's selling, not who's buying. They'd pay more if he was with an English club, because they'd have to.
  21. How much do you think he's worth?
  22. What do McMahon and Weir not like about them?
  23. Ominous. I'll no sleep tonight.
