  1. Hi Everyone David Blacklaw here. Just over a year ago I seen some posts on Social Media about the Well Society looking for volunteers to assist with some up and coming Workstreams that they had identified as key area’s and these aligned with my priorities. I duly got involved and you may have seen me at the Well Society Days with Balloons and Stickers sharing the Well Society message, or welcoming all the members to our recent fantastically successful comedy night in the Davie Cooper Suite. On our recent trip to Aberdeen saw me take ownership in the form of leading one of the Buses for Supporters from Fir Park. I have also been working very closely with Sally on the Membership workstream where we are taking the time to call Well Society Members to reconnect with our members, find out what is important to them and encourage feedback on what we can improve on. Also working on the Well Society Junior Steel engagement push. I actually got the chance to call Ex Motherwell legend Keith Lasley whose son was a member of the Junior Steel group. I think he was more shocked than me πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. For the future of The Well Society, I see a vibrant and growing community that continues to expand its reach and impact. We will enhance and diversify our programs and services to better support the well-being of our members and the wider community, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of promoting health, happiness, and resilience. I see The Well Society creating a sustainable, long-term future of our Club through strategic initiatives and partnerships. By focusing on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement, we will ensure that our efforts lead to lasting positive change for our members, the club and the communities we serve." Thank you for your time and I would appreciate if you can vote for me in the upcoming Well Society Board elections. Please also pass onto family and friends that are also Well Society Members. πŸ™πŸ™ Please reach out with any questions. Mon the Well!!!

  2. Hilariously I’m sure Gypsys, tramps and thieves was played at half time against Celtic once.

  3. Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand. Played at halftime of the 2005 CIS Cup Final. Despite the way the game was going, I seem to remember the Well end bouncing along to it. I probably wouldn't remember it as well but the game has additional significance on a personal level for me, so others might not remember it...

  7. Back in mid 80's I remember a song regarding club encouraging good health. Started like "Motherwell.....Motherwell.........go for good health, be a winner as well', certainly no chance of winning a BRIT award but stuck in my head

  12. But would you shed any tears about the 23 journeymen that replace them for next season?

  14. Having seen the replays, I agree it was a 100% red card. I can also see why Dundee's 2nd goal was disallowed. At the very least, Robertson was distracting Ox. However, I suspect that it was for his movement towards Thompson. Had he been stationed out on a wing I would share Dundee's resentment. I understand Tony Docherty's ire at the officiating but he failed to mention it in relation to Dundee's win over us earlier in the season. What goes around comes around.

  15. I've just upped my contributions again. Wasn't in a position to do so until fairly recently. Good luck to the folk standing for election this time around.

  16. As I mentioned earlier, for those seeking a significant investment, I’m genuinely curious to hear your thoughts on the following: "What kind of return on investment do you believe is realistic when putting money into a club like Motherwell?" This isn’t a loaded question, nor is it meant to catch anyone out.
