On last nights evidence I would be trying to secure Seddon again next season. He is probably the best LB, LWB and LCB at the club and has looked pretty decent in all of those positions. Add into the fact that it has been a problem position for us and he seems like a pretty good sort to have around the place, it seems a no brainer to me. Only issue I would have would be his fitness as he hasnt been available to play much this season. However, I dont recall their being any issues with injuries previously, so maybe he was just a victim of the SK Hex!3 points

I honestly think Stam is going to come good for us and prove his worth next season. I am predicting 15 plus goals from him next next season and Slattery at least 10 offt it's going to be sensational.2 points

If Tony Watt is with us on a 1 year contract with an option of a further year I shall weep a river of tears that's throwing money down the toilet that could be used to bring in someone that will actually be useful on a weekly basis. Sorry we have retained enough it's now time to use resources on some fresh faces.2 points

Did you watch the first half and the majority of the second half? The very concept of a final ball eluded the entire team until SOD of all people managed to put in a great cross for the first goal. So, yeh, apart from 3 great goals in the last 15 minutes against 10 men, the outfield team struggled to do the basics for the most part last night. Silly emojis in response to othersā opinions wonāt change that.2 points

We had 80% possession 2nd half according to MW, the killie keeper had at least 3 great saves , they were offering feck all with 10 men behind the ball all the time. We played some great football and eventually scored 3 great goals and got what our play deserved.. A clean sheet, 3 great goals, a pumping and some payback for killie and McInnes for their tactics, so all in all I would say it was a great performance.2 points

After tonights performance I'd be offering Armstrong a contract, Big strong target man, puts himself about etc and has scored a few goals exactly what we have missed all season, him up top with Stamatelopoulos might be a good pairing.2 points

Hopefully we have a wee word in Ronan Hale's ear on Sunday to join us if County go down. It wouldn't be terrible if we could get Noah Chilvers from them as well1 point

Exactly this. However, at no time in the 2nd half did it look like we were going to lose this one. Total domination, which is not something that Motherwell do very often. When the 1st went in it looked like we'd score every time we went forward and the scoreline was merited in the end. Ultimately, a good end to the home season. Another season in the top tier. Well done to the players and staff. A professional performance is now required against Ross County to put a seal on what has been a difficult season.1 point

Miller said his goodbyes last night. I wouldn't even put him on the bus just in case!1 point

Hoping Dundee fire in 3 early goals against St Johnstone. That should dampen the fire a bit. Would like to have seen Dundee in the playoff spot but we need to beat County and hope Killie beat or draw with Hearts so we can get 7th spot.1 point

I see Lewis Ferguson captained Bologna to their Coppa Italia victory last night. Combine that with Max Johnston being a regular starter for a Sturm Graz side that looks odds on to win another League title, and McTominay and Gilmour with the (very slight) edge in the Serie A title chase, I can only hope Miller takes that as inspiration for a move abroad.1 point

A great cross in from the right, that's his natural and best position, right back / wingback due to our mega injury list he's been playing centre half which he is feckin hopeless at so for me he deserves a bit of praise.1 point

I was at the game and most of the games this season so yes is the answer. I am just glad my coupon never has to rely on your predictions as almost every one has been wrong. Despite your desperate attempts at downplaying a 3-0 win at home. So I don't really take any of your opinion on board apart from the obvious that it will probably be the exact opposite of what you are saying and has been proven on many many occasions. Just keep being you its entertaining if nothing else.1 point

I have to admit I was no fan of Slattery before his injury. I thought he spent most of his time on his arse involved in petty needless fouling adding nothing to our midfield. Since he has come back in from injury his focus seems to be more on how he plays than fouling opponents to stop them playing. Whether this was tactical under SK or not I don't know but for me there's a definite change in style of play from Slattery and he's been worth watching since his return.1 point

Very pleasing to see this guy's passion . Exactly the type of character we need around the club1 point

I expect to see Tony Watt at Fir Park next season, Armstrong not so sure. The rest of the loan players, I think we've seen the last of...1 point

Thought it was a thoroughly decent performance last night rather than great. But it certainly wasnt pedestrian or boring. I did have concerns before the game when I saw the team selection as it was clearly going to be 3 at the back with Sparrow and Wilson in the wing back roles and without Maswanhise in the team, I dont think there is a lot of pace. However, there was no Thompson and with the extra midfielder it did look like a team capable of keeping the ball. Thought the game was pretty even up until the sending off, although up to that point Killie had created the better chances. Great save by Ox from the Armstrong free kick, albeit it was never a foul in the first place. After the sending off, which was a stone waller, we were by far the better team. We knocked the ball about well, stayed patient and changed the point of attack to keep Killie doing all the running. You could be picky and say the quality of our final ball could have been better at times, but Killie rode their luck a fair bit. Second half was dominant. We never really looked under any threat, other than a couple of set pieces and we deserved our 3 goals for our patience and for working Killie so hard up to that point. Slattery's goal was a thing of beauty we havent scored a goal as good as that since Spittal left. Overall, I left feeling pretty satisfied. We all know there needs to be changes in the summer if we want to improve but, for me, Wimmer is showing he is a tactically more astute manager than Kettlewell and his brand of football is infinitely better to watch. Lets just hold onto that for now.1 point

We showed patience in breaking killie down. They pulled almost everyone behind the ball after the sending off, relied on counter attacks, and employed trademark mcinnes game management for most of the game. We did well to keep at it and not do anything silly, and kept knocking on the door. Once we got the opener we gained confidence and wiped the floor with them. Very professional performance in my book. I couldn't watch the game live because I had a meeting at work, so just watched it tonight with the benefit of not shitting it the longer it was 0-0. Unfortunately, due to my superstitious nature, the same people are going to have to join that meeting again on Sunday. Also, dundee were absolutely robbed with that County penalty, and st j must be furious that that was the decision that finally relegated them.1 point

Don't know where else to put this so it's in here. Alexander = Mourinho Mourinho made more headlines when he was asked during a press conference why he had used a different starting XI in 31 games this season. āI have 25 coins, I throw the coins in the air. The ones that stay on the table are the ones that I play. The ones that go on the floor go on the bench. I do it just like this. During the week, Iām having fun," Mourinho said.1 point

Just saw clip of Ahmet after the game, he is an absolute star, love his attitude and enthusiasm1 point

Going against 10 men, grinding them down and winning 3-0 is impressive from the players on the park and being hamstrung by injuries. It wasn't Lambert. Davies, Coyne. But it does have merit.1 point

I remember John Swinburne , proper old school guy Changed days indeed 30 years on where you can now get everything at the click of a button Remember back in the day I would buy the match programme , the Motherwell times, check teletext for any news that was happening Younger generations would laugh š and think no way did that happen1 point

I've been involved online with MFC since early 96, the mailing list, then the yahoo group, chat room and here. It may have been down to who was online at the time but debates were sensible for the most part since it was mostly real names and probably the lack of teenage presence etc. Holy shit that's almost 30 years. I approached the club in May 96 about setting up a website, had a meeting with John Swineburn with grand ideas of what we have now, only to be told that the internet was a fad, that no one would want access to the club's history (Keith and Graham's book) instant news updates etc could be gotten on teletext, every idea or suggestion of use was shot down into flames.1 point

Simple answer? Don't go on Facebook. And if you do, be prepared for nonsense. It's been that way since as far back as I can recall.1 point
