I'd argue that the defence hasn't shipped too many howlers this season. Rangers goal - set piece Hearts - first goal was a belter, second goal got caught marginally with a high line, third GK error. Killie - First goal is one I'll give you, second goal GK error... Not many needless goals shipped to my mind. This is not to say Welsh won't be a decent signing. But just feel our centre halfs haven't been that culpable for goals this season...

We are not all fur coat and no knickers. We are a team that have had three managers in the last year and who were struggling under Kettlewell for a few reasons. Players that were clearly struggling and lost confidence to boot. We were candidates for relegation at one point last season and we stayed up. The team still has to gel - that's clear. It's also clear that every player is playing for the manager and trying their best. Even Ward who has made mistakes that cost us. The negativity on here is staggering at times

I can only imagine the state you'd be in if we had lost any matches this season. Do you genuinely not get any pleasure out of watching players and systems evolve week by week? Or are you only interested in having a finished product immediately available that is going to win every game?

Having watched highlights today if Ward starts then it's last chance saloon for him, that killie equaliser was embarrassing. No point getting all the plaudits, playing great football but nothing to show for it as we have a very poor goalie whose confidence will be rock bottom. Call me old fashioned but I want a goalie to save shots and collect crosses, we have 10 outfield players to do the good footwork

I'm not sure that's correct as I understand it a loan player can be recalled anytime the parent club deems it necessary, plus Wilson is already our player so we are not adding a player so no need to wait for a transfer window. It really depends on the fine print in the loan agreement and what both clubs have agreed on.
