  1. I think for the majority of people it’s fine, if I were just going myself or with my kid, great no problem, it’s the modern way of things. We just download and app and accept it is what it is. my issue is with older people and I know many who are completely lost in the modern world and rely heavily on others. Football and going to football is the only enjoyment in their life usually and they are being made feel like sh1t and made feel like they can’t go to games such as this. Part of their life was nipping up to the ticket office and getting a ticket… easy. Now they go up and no fault to the staff there, they are being punted to find someone elsewhere who can help them out. It’s a shame and for us as a community club I think we are alienating a dedicated fan base of oldies who we should be supporting.

  2. The only way Ward won’t start this one will be if he picks up an injury, which of course going by our luck on that front is always a possibility. He is clearly the managers first choice and he is seen as the better at playing the style JBA wants us to play, regardless of what happened on Sunday. We have to win this one, no two ways about it. We have one league win to our name and that needs to change otherwise all of our improved play and the undoubted good football we have played so far will become more and more in vain. And at home, against Falkirk we should be winning this one and anything less will be unacceptable.

  4. Yep, but tickets won't appear in your Hampden app until a week before the game but the club send you a confirmation email as soon as you've bought the tickets

  5. Yes, inside the Hampden App there is a transfer button that you'd use to send the tickets, the email address you send them to must be the ones your "gang" set up their Hampden app.

  7. Oh I definitely agree with that. There is undoubtedly "social engineering" ongoing to get every facet of our life online and electronically controlled. Some of it is good and can make a lot of things easier. Others, it could be suggested, could be used for more nefarious purposes. Regardless, the way the older generation are being left to "like it or lump it" doesnt sit well.......

  8. I'd like to think so. That's been one of the best things about recent changes, the crowds have genuinely shifted for the first time in about 20 years. That's why it's so important to get returns for the way we are playing. The additional 2000 home fans we've been getting ain't locked in punters. We need to keep them coming back. Slip up against Falkirk and Livi and the doubts in these people minds will see them drift. Clowns like me will always be there, so they really could do anything and I'd go. I'd moan like fuck about it but I'd go. These extras fans ain't as daft as me. Scotland could also help with a decent couple of results, instilling a feel good factor that might help all the clubs.

  12. You and I are looking at this from opposite angles, you see a pass to the opposition striker, I see a horrendous attempted pass (albeit under pressure - see picture above ) to a Motherwell player, the type of pass we see every week numerous times between outfield players be it by ourselves or on tv by another team which is groaned at but then forgotten unless it leads to a goal. By your criteria every player should be dropped after a misplaced pass or two. As I’ve said earlier McGregor made a mess of a shot and got a penalty while Ward messed up a pass and they got a goal. These things happen and are not a reason to crucify anyone. I’m sure Ward is more pissed off about it than anyone here and I’m also sure that his teammates, although gutted, stand by him 100%. My only gripe about the incident is that Ward jumped and cursed himself for a couple of seconds before reacting instead of getting himself into a better position to face the shot. THAT is where he should be looking to improve in future. Misplaced passes will happen to players it’s how they react that matters. You also see that mistake as what gave Celtic the win, it wasn’t, they still needed another goal for that. Someone stated a statistic for the pass of 5% chance of success against 95% chance of failure, I’d love to see the data that backs that up because I’m sure every manager and his data analysts who sets up to play the way we do would bin that style of play if that’s not a pulled out of the arse statistic.
