As good as we were first half. Hearts, 3-0 up, didn't win. Kilmarnock, 2-1 up, didn't win. Dundee, 1-0 up, didn't win. Celtic, 2-1 up, lost Falkirk, 1-0 up, lost. That's 12 points down the swanee because this team cannot defend a lead. It's not bad luck, this is a thing, this is a serious, serious deficiency and it needs to get sorted and sorted quickly because if it doesn't being 2 points off the bottom will seem like the good old days. We have Livingston and Dundee Utd coming up. These are absolutely pivotal matches for the way our season could pan out.

Totally agree, that's why I said in my pre game predictions that this was an important game because I knew some fans are just waiting to declare "get this fancy football to fuck" and resort to the mind numbing shite of the last few years and sadly the defeat has brought some of that very reaction I was worried about.

Bloody hell. What a ridiculous take and unfortunately sums up social media fans. If anyone thinks we r failing it is only because we see how good we can be. All this talk of winning ugly etc only goes so far and you only have to look at last few years to see that and the eventuality. Honestly in shock at that. First half may have been our best football yet. It was that good. We can blame VAR all we want but VAR didnt make the players not show up for the 2nd half! Complete turnaround. No composure on the ball, no tight triangles, sitting back rather than hunting in packs. It was as if they believed their own hype at half time & went home. That will teach them!

That game was lost by the start of the second half, and the blame rests squarely with the manager.

This weekend last year we lost at home to Dundee. Think back to the shite we had to endure the shite tactics and players picked and signed by the bellend . I know whose team I would rather watch , win lose or draw.

We're now seeing this picture on an almost weekly basis,it's now becoming a serious issue our inability to put teams away.

Previous games we have slowed down a bit after 60 70 mins. I think today we can bring players off the bench and maintain our intensity.

Hard to call this week as most only performed well for 45 minutes. But the shining light first half was Ibrahim Said. He should have had his first goal for the club and it would have been a contender for goal of the season......

Very frustrating and bit of a reality check as despite all the plaudits we are in 9th and 2pts off bottom place. First half outstanding but final ball terrible and it came back to bite us. We never turned up 2nd half and Falkirk obviously tweaked formation. Loving the new style and very much on JBA revolution but some fans need a grip. The guy standing at back of hunter stand almost having a coronary and screaming at everything, seriously mate, if you can't get behind team maybe just not come to the games

100% correct . I keep hearing people saying that the opposition tumbled to our style. I don't buy that. Sure 2nd half Falkirk tried to press us further up the park but we stopped doing what we've been good at in the 1st half. The entire team fell behind the ball and started defending on the edge of our own 18 yard box. If we had continued to play our passing game and not sat back we would have got space in the midfield, couple that to the fact our final ball is truly shocking. This was no McGlynn masterclass we made life easy for them and in the end Falkirk got what they deserved. Losing Longello was a blow and the other substitutions didn't actually improve us. So frustrating.

People need to calm down. As poor as today was, and it was very poor second half, I would say it's the first truly bad performance.. Have we dropped points in other games that we shouldn't have? Sure, but generally down to individual errors. Today entire team seemed off second half. Are there concerns? Sure. No cover for a player as key to the system as Longelo seems a huge oversight. The subs seem sometimes to not make sense. Watt was having (by some distance) his worst game for us yet Fadinger was taken off. Like I say, concerns but no need to panic. Looking at results in isolation, today was the first one that you'd say, unacceptable...

There's definitely truth in that,even this early in the season we have created the blueprint for the opposition on how to play against us,all they need to do is stay in the game and we will crumble,the next game at home could very well be a carbon copy of today.

I didn’t mention rangers, I said about airfield, similar to when polworth scored against us. You didn’t mention that. Only any negative rangers comments trigger you.

There’s no arguing with any of this. You can point to good football and ‘if onlys’ all you like but the bottom line is that we are now in mid/late October and have ONE solitary league win on the board. And when you take into account the points we have thrown away from winning positions in several games now then it really is damning reading. Today should have been three points but we have yet again thrown that away because we aren’t capable of making advantage count and seeing a game out when on top. The longer that goes on the bigger the issue it becomes.

It’s just so frustrating because we do have some really good football in us but we aren’t able to actually make it count in terms of winning games. And at the end of the day it counts for nothing if you don’t put points on the board. We are good in the middle but weak at the back and toothless up front.

Crowds will drop again as people getting fed up with collapsing in second half. Real defensive issues there.

officiating at its best today i see. goalie kicks ball out for their player to get treatment. Referee restarts with a drop ball. should be our decision if we give ball back. It was not a head knock.

There is definitely a big upturn in overall mood around the team and the club this season. Obviously there has been frustration that we've not managed to win more games but the team is actually playing football and some pretty decent football at that. Compare and contrast that to the disjointed, scrappy dirge we saw under Kettlewell, Hammell and Alexander. We do need more points on the board though.

Not sure the support are that twitchy just yet. Home form tends to dictate the mood of the support and we haven't lost a game at Fir Park this season. Of course that can change quickly if you lose a couple of, what are considered, more winnable games. But you definitely get more time losing, or not winning attractively than the murderball stuff. Anyway, less of the negative chat. Lets just win this playing sexy Jensball and build towards a historic Cup Win! 😍😍😍

100% correct , Rangers along with the Tories killed a full scale rebuild, remember it like it was yesterday. Rangers lobbied the Tory Govt who just needed and excuse to back out as Rangers wanted Ibrox to be the home of Scotland games.

Correct , this game is huge for us. We will probably get a decent crowd but I just get the feeling some of our support are just ready to jump and start bitching if we don't get a win and Id hate to see the style we've adopted being undermined by fans turning against it because we don't win tomorrow. For me we probably need 7 points from our next 3 games to keep the all the fans on the same page.

For all the plaudits we are getting we need to start getting some wins. Got a decent run coming up so need to turn the good play into points. I have no doubt Ward will start tomorrow but I wonder if defence will trust him as much to give him the ball, will also be nervousness from crowd every time he has ball plus I am sure Falkirk will try and exploit this. Though let Falkirk worry about us and hopefully we can get a fine victory COYW

Okay. So who were you referring to here then? I’m not going to hijack the thread by making it about this so this is the last I’ll say on this subject but like I’ve already said I don’t see how it is relevant who the player who scores against us supports or previously plays for. Anyway, moving on.
