Ben Hall knew when he left that he was going to join Brighton's Under-21s, so he can't have too many complaints if he's still there after just one season. If he's still there when his contract expires, then it'd be fair to re-assess whether he's out of his depth there.

I doubt he would either. But in that case I'd expect him to say nothing at all since he has no need to do so (especially on Twitter), rather than just lie about it.

Depends whose definitions of 'assist' you use, but FIFA's are: An assist was awarded to the player who had given the last pass to the goalscorer. After goals from rebounds those players were awarded an assist who had shot on target. After goals scored on penalty or by a directly converted free-kick the fouled player received a point. Given the number of dubious free kicks and probably opponent bookings he's won over the years by falling about, I'm not sure there's much to be gained by kicking up a fuss about it.
