  1. I suppose anyone under 20 is probably too young to remember. I'm decidedly not, and to be honest even I'd half-forgotten it was still something we did.
  2. If it’s all that “standard “, then surely everyone would have known better and waited just in case.
  3. Scottish Brewers were our first ever shirt sponsor too, if I remember correctly.
  4. And it's Bala Town or Sligo Rovers, first leg at home.
  5. Comments on YouTube overwhelmingly negative, so it's a winner for me already.
  6. Live reveal on YouTube at 8pm: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uaw18phBXiU

    Need help

Shouldn't be, passwords aren't generally saved in cookies. Although the fact that you're logged in to a particular website may be, causing you to have to log in again.
  8. Ross Tierney setting up the second for Ireland U-21's there. (Before being immediately subbed along with the goalscorer.)

  10. Flow confirmed on Twitter yesterday that it should be ready, they're aiming to get the grass sown 5-6 weeks before the first tie.

    Alexander.

We don't hear that much about Chris Lucketti's involvement in things, but fair play to him too... while GA was still trying to play it cool at the final whistle, it was kind of refreshing to see Chris going absolutely mental.
  12. I never really buy the "nothing to play for" thing, to be honest. The games when there's no pressure to get a result should be the ones when you're playing at your unshackled best and even toying with the opposition a bit, not just strolling around looking uninterested.
  13. No idea whether he will or not, but it must be some feeling scoring the goal that guarantees your team European football on the same night the one you just signed for is guaranteed relegation.
  14. Luton obviously missing Wee Al today. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/61212426
  15. Then they're cheating, because Tony Watt isn't even on the list of options.
  16. Even when we've put in plenty of effort we've been pish. More football, however, would be welcome.
  17. He's said before he has no interest in management, that's why he went off and started a media company instead.
  18. Doesn't bother me in the slightest. It's now two separate leagues, we're the worst team in ours and they're the best teams in theirs. You'd expect their record over the last few games to be better than ours.
  19. There will probably also be hundreds who now can. Maybe even more than could have gone on the Sunday. We'll never know.
  20. Not that I've noticed, but supposedly only 1 club voted against and it seems unlikely that it would be us.
  21. Overall perhaps, but since January 2015, they have 5 wins each in the league, and 2 wins each in the Scottish Cup.
  22. This is what the new(er) guidelines described in the article I posted above is pretty much all about... less confusing lines, and more benefit of doubt to the attacker.
  23. Fwiw, the average VAR offside decision in the EPL (a couple of years ago) took 34 seconds. It's the other decisions that tend to take longer.
  24. Here's a decent unrolled Twitter thread explaining UEFA's VAR offside guidelines compared to the previous EPL guidelines. I assume this is what we'd adopt: https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1424680910696427523.html Interesting to note that the Dutch system is slightly different, there the linesman's original decision stands if it's marginal.
  25. I hardly think he'll be in a position to hold us to ransom. He chose to leave and we'll have started planning accordingly. If he decides he doesn't want to leave after all, a new contract will be at our discretion, not his.
