  2. Footballers don't always have to "step up" when they move. Some folk just need a change of scenery now and again to keep them motivated. Would be an odd choice if he had better offers on the table of course, but there are worse places to play your football than Tannadice.
  3. Not that I like the man, but it seems pretty accurate to me.
  4. "Yet again"? We haven't reach enough cup finals for *any* outcome to be described as "yet again".
  5. Which is fine, because they've had easier games.
  6. 1-0 Utd. Daly. Bit of an error by Randolph, by the sound of it.
  7. Couple of half-chances for us in the last five minutes, at least.
  8. The game links only appear if you're in the UK (or using a UK proxy).

Cheek or not, if my lawyer thought I was due £25k off somebody, I'd be giving it a go too.
  10. Yup: http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2011/05/05/cup-final-ticket-update/
  11. To be honest, in an ideal world, us being nice to them shouldn't influence them either way. They're *supposed* to be journalists who report facts for a living...
  12. Ach, let's not get too carried away here. 125 years isn't really *that* significant a number, in the "big anniversary numbers" scheme of things. If it was our 100th or 150th anniversary, I'd be a bit more miffed that we didn't have a special strip for the year. But 125? Meh. I'd much rather our strip just said "Scottish Cup Winners 2010/11" on it sometime soon
  13. Hope the Puma logo isn't on it; if it is, would probably look a bit more balanced if the "125 years" was midway between the Puma and MFC logos, rather than underneath the MFC. Good stuff, though.
  14. In the Herald today: http://www.heraldscotland.com/blogs/stramash/michael-grant-on-monday-eddie-turnbull-1.1098911
  15. Would agree with the first part -- of all our top six games, this was really the only one in which taking a point or three could have had a positive effect on the outcome of our season, so there was no excuse for not playing for a win. I don't agree with the second part though. Even if there are people in our team playing for a move, today was the ideal day to put themselves in the shop window, but I doubt any of the scouts there today would've been impressed.
  16. On the plus side, at least nobody can accuse of making it too easy for Celtic to win the league to guarantee us a euro spot...
  17. 2-0. Despite our antics last week, that's probably that.
  18. Thought that as well. Would've had to be a red too, as he's already been booked.
  19. Half time. Lucky it's only 1-0, no composure from us anywhere on the park so far.
  20. "Just when you thought the royal wedding was over, it appears that Rangers captain David Weir has a 'congratulations to William & Kate' message embroidered on his shirt." Classy.
  21. Good timing, as the French one has just gone down as well.
  22. Have had two disappear on me already -- resorting to this French one currently: http://www.vipfast.fr/ch1.html
  23. Defence is all over the place today.
