  1. I don't want to rob Motherwell of any income. So go in support your team but show the SPL and SFA that we are not going to stand back and watch them kill our game. Enough is enough. Or should we all protest outside Hampden. That could get ugly.

  2. The fans want a bigger league. What do we get a smaller league. Just sums up Scottish football. Because Rangers and Celtic want to play each other as often as possible the other clubs bend over and take it up the arse. So fed up. I don't want us to play Rangers or Celtic 4 times a season. 18 team league with teams playing each other twice. Play offs for relegation and promotion. Under 21 league created with teams able to play 4 over aged players in each game.

End this madness. I think we should go on strike.

    Rangers

    Celtic

    Hearts

    Hibs

    Dundee UTD

    Dundee

    Aberdeen

    Motherwell

    Inverness

    Kilmarnock

    Morton

    Hamilton

    Partick Thistle

    St Midden

    Dunfermline

    Livingston

    Raith Rovers

    Falkirk

  3. What is all this rubbish. I won't be spending my 20 quad going to watch Motherwell. That is your choice but the club needs your 20 quad to keep the club afloat. No 20 quads no Motherwell Football Club. We need every single penny going into the club. If we can get more people to come and spend 20 quad we might have some sort of transfer budget. All this we are crap so I am not going back. We have been crap for as long as I can remember. The best way to support the team is get yourself and your 20 quad along to Fir Park or things aint going to get any better.

  4. Hi Leeann, Hope you are well.

I don't want to get too ahead of myself here but I really hope the club can keep this going. It is making us feel like part of the club again. Hats off to all at Motherwell Football Club

  5. can you just imagine the outrage if a hearts supporters bus had skidded off the M8 and injured if not killed some one. The whole nation would have been on top scottish football again. The right choice in my eyes. Really didn't fancy try to get through from Livi today.

  6. I am sure Leeann mentioned the money raised would be kept in a seperate pot and could possibly be put towards repairs to Fir Park or a new ground or youth developement. I don't think it has been decided exactly so maybe just being setup as a charity fund.

  7. Lets face it the only way our club will survive is by listening to the fans. We can no longer rely on TV or sponsors money. Connecting with the fans is key to Motherwells future survival. It is our club and we are the people that pump our hard earned cash into it so it is great that the club have realised it and are doing all they can to get us involved again. Well done Leeann and all others involved.

  8. I reckon we will ask for 10,000 with the condition that if we sell them all we get another 2,000. Sales will be very dissappointing and we will only sell 7932 mainly due to people not wanting to take their kids any where near a game involving either of the old firm and it is on the BBC.. I also think that tickets will go on sale in the first week in January costing £25 and £15. The lottery numbers will be 5, 23,34,35,39 and 47 and Motherwell will win the CIS CUP!

  9. It is not only the club that needs to advertise Motherwell Football Club. I firmly believe every Motherwell fan can make an effort as well. Tell your friends how you enjoyed your day at Fir Park. How it is great watching young players getting their chance at Motherwell, Murphy, Saunders and the likes. I live in Livingston so it is tough for me as most people I know support the old firm but I would even go down to Motherwell centre to hand out leaflets letting people know about any offers the club had on. We all need to think outside the box and let people know Motherwell is the club to bring your family to. No more negative talk about our, yes our club. Keep it positive.

  10. I think this could be a good idea if advertised and marketed properly. Over the years Motherwell have come up with lots of good ideas but have fallen short on what you could say "the final product". If the club do this we must do it really well and really professionally. The raffle option is also a good idea for some things. I would love the chance to spend ninety minutes in the dugout on a match day. How cool would that be. Good to see Leeann running things past the people who matter. US!

  11. Ok so the person or people who let them off did it in full few of the stewards cctv and the rest of the Well fans. Any way that is not the point. It seems that Motherwell have been made to do something about it. The flags being banned is probably just to show the SPl, SFA and the Police we have addressed the smokebomb issue. I would let flags back in for our next home game.

  12. It is all about the smoke bombs being let off under the flags. That is it. Unfortunately SPL and SFA the Police have all been putting pressure on Motherwell to do something about the smoke bombs so to keep these people off the clubs back and the fans back they have band flags. Don't bring smoke bombs and the flags will be allowed back. I am sure the last thing the club want to do is to drive people away from Fir Park. Far from it. The more people that come to watch Motherwell the better the atmosphere will be.

  13. We just need to leave that up to the men who know best. But I would keep it nice and tight with Hateley sitting infront of the back four for protection. Everyone else can support the front players when possible. We can't just go at them because they will punish us with the pace of Utaka. It is going to be a game of chess on Thursday. Blackman right through the middle with Humphrey right wing and Murphy left wing.

  14. Unfortunately she maybe made a wee mistake and put football fans into the same box on this one. Alot of football fans think their club should go and pay x grand a week to get the player they want. I think she is aware that most Well fans get the whole financial thing with Motherwell Football Club. We all know we need bums on seats and that should be the biggest agenda on the Directors table for the forseable future. Get as many people through the turnstiles as humanly possible. Kids, Adults, O.A.P's. students. Ask a friend along.

  15. You don't need to but people might if it was 60pence for a twix and £1.20 for a pie and the club would surely still make a profit. Pizza slices for a pound now there is a wee money making idea.

  16. The coverage from the BBC of the Scottish game is shocking. On a Saturday night it is wall to wall English football. on the Radio it is Rangers this Celtic that and as for that awful open all mics thing terrible terrible radio. The biggest problem for Football in this country is the amount of other things kids can do with there pocket money. Play games on their psp's, wee's and X-boxes. Dads having to work weekends to make ends meet so can't take their kids to the footy. We need to get bums on seats. We need fans to spend their money at Fir Park. Although when you are asked to pay £1 for a twix and £1.70 for a pie there ain't much chance. Motherwell have done a fantastic thing by letting kids into the Cooper for free. Motherwell Football Club need to get in contact with Motherwell fans that don't go to Fir park and find out why they don't come along to watch. Is it too expensive, is it work commitments, is it the product on show or is it that they just can't be arsed sitting in the freezing cold watching us struggle against 10 men of Inverness caley thistle in the middle of January. The one thing that will keep Motherwell alive are the fans.Fact! The fans committee that has been set up is a great idea and has hopefully already had some positive impact on the going on's at Fir Park. We all want a winning team on the park and the best way to get this is by getting folk to come to Fir Park spend their money so it can be invested in the team.
