Just listened to managers press conference and doest he come across great. He is big on little percentage differences and how our league position isn't justified. I am fully with him on this. Football yes is all about results but their needs to be foundations for it to be sustainable. Jens is trying to build as we all know and I just hope that some who I feel are shortsighted in their feelings about our results do not chase him out and we are back to firefighting every year. He is ambitious and talks about other small clubs throughout Europe who are now competing with big boys. Yes tomorrow is big and we certainly need a result but if we don't which is possible I just hope the majority keep calm.

Our midfield are all tremendous footballers but maybe not disciplined enough to just defend when needed. I think Welsh could do in there 2nd half yesterday just to sit and Gordon brought on to deal with their height when we were on back foot but that's hindsight. When just went off we lost a body from the middle and that left us more open also. I'm sure JBA will have noticed as his interviews seem to suggest he has.

You might be right there spider but if you remember Alexander's team that was winning there was moans at that and then his luck ran out. And only last week scotland won 2 games and the response of fans was negative. This is where I am also. We had as many chances as Falkirk 2nd half and looked as dangerous so all this Falkirk were better i honestly didnt see it. They scored 2 to our none and obviously that is most important part and highlights our defencive weaknesses. Our problems are when we lose ball teams attack at will. I think we are sometimes too desperate to attack when we just need to slow game down a bit especially when other team are on a bit of a roll like at start of 2nd half.

I always think it's an easy cop out saying hampden is a shit hole. Park head and ibrox are no better facility wise and are only better in their seating behind the goals. Murrayfield behind goals is as far away as hampden imo so saying it's not worthy of a final is harsh. Yes I'd love a Wembley or millennium but the constant knocking of our national stadium is as I said harsh. Where would you say is worthy of a final in Scotland

I'm with you on this mate and feel we will learn as most teams will start doing same. I.e putting 5 players up on us at goal kicks. JBA will see this and will develop a play out that will bypass these 5. There must be room elsewhere on pitch if they have 5 to mark our 2cdms and 2 cbs so that will be worked out what to do if this happens again. There is always solutions and I am sure we will find them. As others have said 1st time in years we have gave them a right game and only our lack of subs and 1 bad decision cost us. We are a match for anyone just now and it is great to see. Ps I would keep faith with ward as there is no way ox would give us extra man in playing out from back.

I also think a lot of our fans can't remember us being in this position where every game we are dominating. It's impossible to dominate for 90 mins though and due to this other teams are exploiting our weaknesses. However I for 1 am loving it and have no doubt we will come good. Yes that was great when we did try those big switch of plays. As you say it keeps opponents wondering. Sods done well when he came on. He has imo got a good pass in him that breaks the lines. Decent as sub to come on if required

It was great to see a midfield that can all pass the ball. No punts up the park to hang on at end which just encourages all other teams players to push forward into our area. Rangers had to keep players back because they knew we were going to attack them. I know it's early days but best team since gorrin.turnbull.campbell days. And I also think it shows that we don't need a defensive midfielder as such we just need midfielders who can pass the ball to cover injuries and suspensions. Quite excited and tickets bought for next week as I think we will sell out in paisley.

Watt.fadinger and slattery are all players who want to pass the ball and although a short timespan they all look at this stage to be good footballers compared to other midfielders we have had recently. We are well fans and are pessimists by nature regards our team but at least now after a few dire years there is some hope and optimism from the majority.

Can't understand negativity around bair. Is he better than what's there just now? He gave the glasgow 2s defense a hard time which showed how good he was. If we could get him back with 2 wingers and a midfield that can pass the ball i can't see why he would not enhance us.

Totally agree with you on this and apologies if anyone thought I was meaning them in isolation. My generic reading is the majority say they haven't heard much abuse when it happens every game. Now saying your shite or words to that effect might not seem nuch to some but it also depends how it is said and certainly at half time and 2nd half and mostly at end of cup game a lot were really going nuts shouting and bawling in a really aggressive manner. So in essence what I mean is depends how you describe abuse. I totally appreciate also it depends where you are sitting leaving etc.

Great Post and quite simply put. The toxicity at cup game was terrible and it seems this is happening now all the time . These people that spout that nonsense would not do it in any other situation and I'd imagine if they saw players/manager in the street would be all pally wally with them. It's been interesting since SK resigned seeing the keyboard warriors all over social media who slaughter managers players etc saying "wasn't me". They need called out by someone for being the eejits that they are. They are obviously a wee bit worried of getting the blame.
