shite weather yes i understand but shite park and shite stadium is a cop out there are loads of others we go to just as shite. weather and cost is imo only reasons

the reason i said burrows should explain is coz he is our leader and very gd on social media. i was not being critical off him but i wouldnt expect accies leader to explain to us. there are loads if well fans not going due to i think cost so why shouldnt he try and get us same deal as we give them?

yep last game was poor as well as seasons before we filled the stand 2200 i think. the pricing has killed it and why i feel burrows should explain why it is the case.

we only had 1200 which for a derby is piss poor. i feel some well fans now are expecting victory all the time and look for any excuse not to go. i dont want to criticize people who dont go as there are many reasons usually cost but i have saw today people even going to lower league english games other than a game against our local rivals? personally i dont get it.

agree with steelboy amongst others that longs attitude is sometimes shit and whilst there were other things in game that werent dealt with by referee he by stupidity got himself sent off and robinsons response to it i.e raging tells its own story. game was poor but we had gd chances at end but a draw was fair. was disappointed with crowd but the prices are ridiculous and added to the weather and our pessimism just now it was to be expected. We are in a great european spot race and i hope we win on tuesday night now to get us believing again. On another note I dont understand why burrows cannot agree a deal with accies and other teams that says games at both venues will be same price as an adult and 2 under 16s at fir park is i think £30. but £ 55 at accies is ridiculous. id go 352 again as teams now no if their fullbacks push tight on our wingers we are knackered. so gillespie. gallagher. donnelly. tait as back 3. grimmy and aarons wingbacks. ohara campbell and polworth in middle. with watt and hopefully long up front but if maciver is in then im happy enough with that too. i am a big fan of polworth and in the cup game i felt he also had a huge impact 2nd half. yes sometimes his passes didnt complete but some were brilliant. he also i felt covered more ground than anyone else. we really need a win to re ignite the positivity.

I was having a look at how the danish league worked when I saw copenhagen had just come back from their winter break. They are similar in size to ourselves and have a 14 team top league. I personally liked the look of it and as i think end of next season 2020/21 we will have 5 teams in europe same as them then it looks like something a little bit different with not as many dead rubbers at end of season. I know it looks complicated but as I say its new and would bring 2 extra teams in plus all bottom 8 teams are playing for something all the time.

bloody hell lose at st j and the negativity on here is ridiculous. we won earlier in season there and we were lucky. there pitch is poor and i was worried before hand of a 2 or 3 reverse. to repeat my mantra the 10 teams outwith the other 2 there is nothing between us all and results will be very unpredictable between now and end of season. im confident playing st mirren in a season when we are struggling so when we are doing well i am obviously confident and when we win next 2 games everything will again be rosy. i know we are also struggling last few games but robinsons determination to succeed plus gallagher.polworth.donnelly and to a lesser extent long makes us favourites and rightly so.

who couldnt be excited about qualifying for europe? Nancy for the people who were there has to be one of if not THE best experience ever as a well fan. It was fantastic. It was only when mcall started using europe as pre season friendlies that it lost some sparkle and i dont think robinson will treat it like that. If we can remember that if we had beat stjarnan we would have got lech poznan and then stjarnan beat them and got inter milan. I can remember being so annoyed at that time that the possibility of going to san siro was taken away. I know its extremely difficult to reach group stages but if we could do it not only would the finance set us up for many a year but the fan experience would be amazing. If anyone is content to just stay in the league then imo football is not for you. Sorry if thats harsh but dreaming of glory and experiences is what makes it the greatest sport in the world.

was shocked by robinson being as bold. we went man for man but their class told in end. their midfield too strong and edoard class. we didnt deserve a 4 0 but thats football im a lot less bothered than i was after saturday past. some of our fans are murder.whining about everything. not one of our players would get in their team or maybe even squad but some of our fans want to get rid of our players coz they dint perform against celtic. our forwards have looked poor last few games but i dont think robinson helps that by continuosly swapping front 3. they cant be knackered all the time. im not having polworth crap as he is most creative player in team by a mile. grimshaw criticism again confuses me. Saturday is huge to get feelgood feeling back for season run in i feel.

Great move for James and hopefully he will kick on down there.He has everything to succeed imo but he lacks at this stage only aggression which will hopefully come. I personally would not have thought at this stage of his career and his performances for us we would have got such a fee. Gd business for us I feel and if the prediction that turnbull is back in 3 weeks is true and he hits the ground running then everything will be rosy. I also feel aarons helps us as a pacy left footed winger as we do not have anyone like that who can beat a rb on the outside. Similar to marvin johnson in style.

as others have said Scott was well on top v their right back and i think robinson made a mistake moving him to right. seedorf could have came on right wing and attacked stevenson on his outside. however it showed where we are as a team that hibs were so defensive. we dominated most of game apart from a 10 min spell 2nd half. 4th at least will be guaranteed soon.

I dont see how Polworth can split opinion he has been outstanding.He is a poor mans kevin de bruyne and I mean that as a huge compliment too him. Its some typical scottish football fans that think he cant tackle and gets pushed around easily but not only is his passing excellent his work rate is too. My player of the year so far ahead of even gallagher as if he wasnt there id worry about us getting many chances a game to score.

i saw erwin on highlights at wknd and he has lost weight and whilst didnt score i thought he looked gd. i would like to see him back as he was imo destined for great things before going to leeds and then thinking he had made it and acting and looking like an idiot. Hes still only just turned 25 and id imagine still has lots of pals at fp and obviously family in local area. might work might not but is he any greater risk than who we normally go for?

Yep i agree ya bezzer. Campbell whilst one of our own looking poor for a bit when we are off it . However a huge decision today was our managers by going 352 when we were winning. Yes accies were pressing us at that time but we were still winning and i thought if we weathered that storm we would go on from there. Easy in hindsight i know but trying to console myself with we are still 3rd. ps both accies full backs mcgowan and mcmann looked good and worth a look from our scouting department.

1st away we have missed this season due to obvious reasons and wish we were there for celebrations at end that ive saw . So chuffed for all the fans that went up there today and the players obviously responded. Looking forward now to the derby. COYW

What I see as the problem if there is one is that we have just now 5 fighting for 3 positions with not one of them guaranteed a place.This makes them greedier than normal for goals hence the stupid attempts every week and also when they are on pitch ala long today touching in a ball on the line. But we are 3rd on merit. It also showed today the difference polworth makes with his passing ability as before he was on whilst we had most of ball our midfied 3 tgen do not have polworths vision or awareness. Think ohara needs to be a defensive mid as he won a lot of balls in that role wgen he went there.

Big Bevis is faster and physically bigger and can also recover better than hartley but his positional play or organisational skills are nowhere near hartleys. Bevis i feel would also be so much better on right of defence as he looks dodgy anytime balls on his left side but i understand robinson not wanting to move gallagher from his usual spot. Hindsight is great but I like others felt hartley would have been better on sunday as he is also so bloody determined which i felt we missed a bit.

The main difference today was our players did not get as much time on ball as against weaker teams they were always snapping into tackles quickly and their 2 widemen came into midfield to create a 4 against our 3. we got totally overan in midfield. like any game goals change them and after longs great run and cutback in 1st half i felt we dropped out it. 2nd half nit much in it till their 2nd then their experience closed game out. When turnbull is back i think we will play a diamond with a winger sacrificed and this will improve us against top teams.

we went 352 then to combat their strikers which i thought was great move. fantastic we can play different formations to win games.

our 3 looked not so gd today as hearts played a 3 6 1 with a midfield 4 of walker whelan meshino clare against our 3 but that also meant they had no one up front . game was really tight but hyltons ability and a superb long finish was our reward. every game is give and take tactically where we give up 1 area of pitch to take advantage in others as seen today. we are 3rd in league and more to come. lets enjoy it

totally agree. our midfield won us game tonight. they were up for it until we scored and game was even until then. when donnelly started getting more of ball and polworths pass for 2nd is what he does. campbell was supporting forwards as ever. this we were crap on saturday and tonight till we scored is a lot of crap imo. as i have said many times on here there is nothing between most teams hence the start of last 2 games. there is no way we will dominate a team for 90 mins even celtic who have won every trophy for last 3 years dont do it. last 2 games 7-0 aggregate hope it continues!

Im sure (hoping) we and robinson have learned from last year v ross county when i and others had most despondent feeling in ages. As everyone said we lost 2 bad goals 1st half however we had plenty time to remedy it which in the 2nd half we totally dominated them with attack after attack but not enough quality from 30 yards out. When ohara came on for maguire i thought he would be making runs to support our strikers but he was sat back then scott for campbell i feel was bad move as our 3 midfield wer in control then we only had 1 of them on pitch. We lost the 3rd to a predictable counter attack. We badly need a big number 9 as cole and long do most of their best work outside the box. We are not far away but lack of goal threat when we are chasing games and teams sit in against us will be our downfall i think. We also missed donnelly today as im sure he would have had some shots from outside box today as we had lot of ball there.
