Amazed there's even any debate. Luke Watt getting a few games should be far more important to the club than petty matters like £200k and qualifying for European competition. This rhetoric took the joy out of recent European 'campaigns'. Obscure trips to Russia aside, there is income to be made from gate receipts and prize money. That diddy mob from Iceland went on to play Lech Poznan and Inter Milan. That would have been 2 full houses at Fir Park with low travel costs. Add in possible TV income and that would have set us up well for the future. I read a lot on here saying 3pm on a saturday is when games should always be on. I have been going on and off for 30 years since my early teens and that was maybe the case all those years ago but definately not now. as someone said earlier family commitments take over for most at weekends now and i personally think friday nights are great for football. every boys club,amateur and junior team mostly play on a saturday so all those players and their families , friends go to their games.. i am quite sure that a lot of players who play for fun would love to go to more games but cant as they are playing. plus again as someone said the total fkup that was our european campaigns totally scunnered me, some of our managers and players during the last few seasons treated it like pre season friendlies when it meant the world to us fans. i definately cant get excited anymore although last years play off games were magical.

Two different guys at work have had texts saying Paulo Di Canio has thrown his hat into the ring. I really think they have excelled in the 2 games with their policys.There is no doubt that their stance on tickets got all3 stands nearly full of Well fans. It was brilliant in comparison to normally being overrun with them. Can we do it on an ongoing basis? Im very calm dont know how? A lot of our bad performances at end of season have happened as we have needed a win and been chasing the game and the other team have sat in and played their normal game. I just hope tonight that is what we do to them if we sit in grab a goal they will charge for one back then we get another due to our pace on break.sounds easy i know but it can happen. I have confidence in our attack its our midfield that i feel has the possibility of being overrun. First ten minutes we need a bit of keep ball to quieten them down and then the game will develop.

We cannot give either of them all south stand as they would generate more noise than rest of fp.im with others on this.givem 1000 max.the difference in revenue will be recouped with staying in top league. I will be gutted if we give them normal allocation as this will be no ordinary league game. $5 tickets and only sold to fans who have bought before ans st holders obviously.
