  1. Another point is when Rangers got a corner, we had no out ball. Nobody up the park to make Rangers put players on them. Rangers could put every player they wanted in the box and if the ball was headed out, it could only go to a Rangers player. Rubbish.
  2. Poor Grimshaw. Of the three midfield players on show last night, he was most certainly not the worst. When did the other two get involved in the game. Corners, throw ins, other than that they were anonymous .
  3. It would appear everybody's system causes us problems in the midfield. We don't really play anything through our midfield, we just hump it from back to front and hope it sticks, and if it doesn't we seem incapable of picking up second ball. It would be nice to see a bit more football being played.
  4. A few on here have suggested we should go 352, I tend to agree, as at the moment we play virtually nothing through midfield, and this might help us get some possession there. We are punting long balls virtually all the time, and get very little second ball. But one thing is certain (I hope I'm wrong) this manager will not change his tactics. It will be 433, we will continue with the 2 man corners. So disappointed that he cannot change and tries to tell us that Saturday was the best the team had played in the first half.
  5. Can't agree about Goss in midfield. He produced absolutely nothing against Celtic.
  6. David Turnbull will always get my respect for doing what he did to make sure Motherwell got the £3m fee for him, but I will not be cheering him or booing him. He plays for another team, so we move on as he does.
  7. I would love to see Charlie Aitken be enrolled next time around. I know a lot of you on here will not have seen Charlie play, but he was an inspirational player, who helped those around him. As I say maybe next time.
  8. Its a home game so you will get it with your season ticket. Log in as normal. I did it for the Dundee game.
  9. It just goes to show how corrupt the majority of journalists are in this country.
  10. While I am delighted with the result. This taking off all attacking options with 15 to 10mins to go, is not pretty. Its gives the other team the momentum and leaves you sitting in the Cooper watching a match at the other end of the park. I get it that it worked, but I felt at 2 up we should have kept on the front foot and really finished them off. Just my opinion.
  11. If the referees were to apply a free kick for every "wee push", the game would be stopped every two minutes.. No, he made an error, and Motherwell should have been given the advantage.
  12. We've got a song for Amaluzer if he plays. The Beatles " I'm a Loser".
  13. The boy from Leicester could well be a good signing, but we still need someone in the midfield who can play a pass, and has some vision or we could end up with the hump ball football we were "entertained " with last season.
  14. At least the guy can score with both feet.
  15. Shame about the new guy's name. You'd think when he changed it, he could have thought of something better than "I'm a loser". Just saying!
  16. I guess that's what he negotiated when he was out injured then. Seems fair and probably why MFC kept everything quit. We get his euro money and he gets the contract extension lifted to let him sign for someone else.
  17. We need a playmaker in midfield, somebody, dare I say it like DT, or we will suffer long ball football next season again.
  18. Friend I'll say what I like, and nothing you say will change that. You have no idea where I have lived in the past, so making a stupid statement like that, knowing nothing of my circumstances is pretty sad.
  19. The racist bit is used at every opportunity, because they know people will react to it.
  20. See Gallagher has signed a Pre-Contract with Aberdeen. Hopefully he hasn't got a clause in it after 25 games, or he'll end up being injured again.
  21. My take on it, is we have never had a leader on the park. Declan Gallagher to me, was never Captain material, and I think we have suffered because of it. Hartley might have been slow and at the end of his career, but to me he could motivate the players around him., and that's one thing we need.
  22. It might actually help Scottish football. We would hopefully have a league where the majority of teams had an opportunity to win the league, rather than the stale situation we have at present, where every other team is fighting for third place. If your team was in the mix to win the league, it could actually generate bigger crowds at more games, because of the competitive nature of the league. So bye bye R & C.
