  1. The only way to get anything from Celtic is to close them down all the time, don't give them room to move. When we have done that in the past we have always given them a game. Give them room to play and we will get beaten.
  2. Have I missed the result of this raffle, or has it still to be announced?
  3. While I agree with virtually all you say in this post. The problem with this result is McColl sent out the message to the team he picked IE: leaving out his captain and top goal scorer, leaving out U20 players from even the substitutes, only picking 5 substitutes. This can only be interpreted as bad management and we'll win this easily. When a team goes onto the pitch with this attitude they can never lift their game if things go against them, and this is what happened.
  4. Listened to the radio on the way to the game, and Gordon Dalziel called it correctly. He couldn't understand why we didn't put out our best eleven and win the game first and then substitute where required. Equally McCall has been totally disrespectful to the Motherwell support by defending the attitute of the team he put on the park. They lacked fight, they lacked desire and they lacked quality. I could have played instead of Lawson, he hardly made a forward pass, and when he did he mainly gave the ball away. I know I shouldn't single out any individual, as they were all culpable and lacked a sense of passion and urgency to go and win the game. A sorry day for all the supporters who had to sit through that excrutiating excuse for a football match, and I've seen a few over the many years I've supported Motherwell. If the team were to go out with the same attitude on Friday, they will get hammered!
  5. If we can play a lazy B like Vigurs, then we can certainly play a talisman like Faddy, because good or bad he will fight for the cause. I would be dropping Vigurs if Faddy was fit.
  6. Have to say Ian Vigors was absolutely rank rotten. He wanted too much time on the ball, and continually got caught in possession, and didn't get a tackle in all game, wouldn't track back and chase for the cause. Got to be dropped for Wednesday's game.
  7. Probably just to screw more money out of the fans who go. The upper tier is dearer!
  8. They don't want the drum, because it's there to lift the away team. If it was in the home stand to lift the home team there wouldn't be a problem.
  9. It will be great news if Faddy and McManus sign, but I think the most significant signings could be the players targeted to give us the width and pace we had last year with Humph and Ojamaa. We get that right and it could be an amazing season.
  10. I was told this morning by someone who had spoken to Faddy two weeks ago, that he had not been offered a contract. Don't know if that has changed since then, or if we are waiting to see how much we have left to offer him. I would hate to think we are not going to offer him anything.
  11. Thats my £20 on it's way. Hope we can sponsor two players again this year . Good work Iain.
  12. If McCall moves on let's get Luc Nijholt.
  13. Let's get Celtic at home as the first game. We'll get a full house for their title winning party (maybe), and make some money out of the feckers. Hopefully give them a beating again, and has been said, let them win the title somewhere else.
  14. Hats off to St Mirren. A well thought out reply, and has taken into account what fans have been calling for.

    Dundee

Thought Ojaama was great all through the game.
  16. Nancy was a great adventure, but winning the Scottish Cup in 1991 was absolutely brilliant and it got us into europe. So it has to be a cup win for me.
  17. I think Faddy and Lasley will start in this one, and although it will be tight, we should come out on top by a goal.
  18. If players put themselves on facebook, they must expect a certain amount of cretins will go beyond what is seen as reasonable comment. Also to think that he would move to any other club and not get similar abuse is nonsense. There are nutters who support every other club, and if he is not performing for them, the abuse will follow. Easy answer, get off facebook.
  19. I followed Motherwell for over 50 years, and my only regret is my dad didn't get to see them in the Champions League. 2012 has been a remarkable year to be a Motherwell fan, and I'm glad to have been a part of it. All the best to all the 'Well fans out there. let's sincerely hope 2013 can be even half as good as last year.
  20. So important we start fast and with luck get an early goal, then the sheep shaggers will have to come out and try and get at us rather than sitting back. Come on the 'well.
  21. We are playing one man down from the start every game at the moment. Yet again Tom Hateley had a nightmare. He needs dropped. He can't tackle a paper bag and his contribution from corners/ freekicks is absolutely hopeless.
  22. Home defeat 4k at game, away win 200 at game. Hence the difference!

    Hearts

    Shaun Hutchison was immense today.
  24. Cannot agree, from where I sat he was trying to get his leg out of the way.
