Let's be honest, apart from Kelly there will be no new faces playing today, and GA will be relying on Lasley and Ross in the team selection, so we either put in a great performance ( tells me SR lost the dressing room) or its more of the same from recent weeks (we really do have too much dross in the team) and contrary to GA's initial assessment major surgery is required. The next few games will be interesting vuewing

He said he knew Ross and that for now him and Lasley will be getting him up to speed re the players etc. But going forward what role if any will Ross have, GA brought in Lucketti, lasley will be reserve team boss, what will Ross do ? For me he will be gone at the end of the season.
-
Is this another exclusive or has your twitter feed just refreshed?
-
Listening to that interview, seems the deal was done a few days ago as he has looked at the squad and consulted with SR, so the club obviously knew who they wanted.
-
Thats Alexander confirmed on the official club twitter feed now, the climb up the league starts now.
-
Confirmed on every major news platform Dave apart from the official club media, Donald Trump would be tweeting it if his account was not blocked
-
Congratulations you've beaten Yodo to post the 1st negative comment, before the official announcement as well, impressive stuff,
-
Hearing chat that Alexander is bringing in his own assistant, with Lasley becoming reserve team manager, Mo Ross will be leaving the club. So if true we are getting a fresh approach after all, onwards and upwards.
-
Done deal for Alexander according to the daily rancid https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/motherwell-set-appoint-graham-alexander-23275930.amp
-
Alexander to be announced tomorrow apparently ( source - Family member of a director,) so here's hoping.
-
I hope not, for me he is too similar to Robinson and teaming up with Lasley will only add to that. A fresh approach is required, so for me I hope its Alexander.
-
Until we have a picture of someone holding a well scarf over their head, beside a nice railway bridge then its not official.

Alan Campbell in talks with Millwall allegedly according to the Daily Record . https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/millwall-open-talks-regarding-motherwell-23274851.amp

Motherwell Bridge works, yes it was, think the big water tank is about all that's left now.
-
Taken that way too far, no bridge references
-
No the babylon bridge is the one on the main line Dave, between Orbiston and Uddingston,
-
OTF is correct the Globe is on the North side of the south Calder water, Forgewood is on the South side
-
Did they look like a football manager, and nothing like lasley?
-
I see skippy is quoted in one of the green ugly sisters forums saying that he thinks Gallagher is not Celtic quality, despite him being an "avid Celtuc fan" and seemingly desperate to play for them. https://www.67hailhail.com/news/scott-mcdonald-doesnt-sound-overly-convinced-with-declan-gallagher-to-celtic/
-
The club can only pick from those who applied and want the job, so maybe the 4 names quoted are the only ones interested, probably enquiries have been made to others about the job but if they are not interested then the clubs hands are tied.
-
Aye it could be the Wright /Lasley dream team, why is it that Tommy wright who was criticised for years at St Johnstone for his approach to the game, took them from mid table mediocrity and left them there with no real progression, is suddenly being talked up as if he was Klopp, or the special one, and as for experience of the Scottish game, its somebody with no experience of some of the dross that passes for football in this country that we need, a fresh and new approach.
-
I presume Archer knew he was away and the deal was done so I suspect he made himself unavailable as per instructions from Middlesbrough not wanting to risk any Injury to the player before he got there, so I will give Las the benefit of tbe doubt on that one.
-
TBH that gives me the fear, we need a fresh input rather than a reboot of the previous regime, Wrights style at St J was brutal at times, yes he made them hard to beat and may be what we need to keep us up right now, but we need stability and a manager in who can bring new ideas etc to rebuild the squad, past this season.
-
would agree with that, of the 4 Alexander is the most experienced with probably a good contact network in the lower leagues in England which to be fair is the market we will be buying from

Motherwell: Scottish Premiership club to interview four candidates for manager's job - BBC Sport think Tommy Wright and graham Alexander were mentioned earlier, no idea who the 3rd candidate is
