  1. Cut off your reply at the appropriate point , yes we are humans but the harsh reality we are in points make prizes so we need to ensure that if we don't win the game we at least don't lose it. And that's where our problem is, we are absolutely dreadful at seeing games out ,and if we were we would be at least 3 or 4 points better off. Whatever way you look at it losing a goal in the 92nd mins is a bad performance and that's what we need to improve on if we want to stay in the league.
  2. Pish we failed to take anything from the game so it's a bad performance into injury time at 0-0 we should be seeing the game out losing a goal in 92 mins is unacceptable that why we are 3rd bottom
  3. As much as it is an improvement on 7-2 it's a point lost we are fecking crap at seeing games out and holding what we have that's why we are in this position. At the end of the day we might have played better and improved as a team but we still got no points and where we are in the league points are the priority so for me i would rather have a shit performance and a point over a brave effort and feck all to show for it.
  4. What no place on the list for the fans favourites Valakari and Van Der Gaag, surely not.
  5. [quote name="Villageman" We substituted Lasley and Hammell at half time and things improved. You want to bring them back for Aberdeen. Spot on with this, the two of them are done and should be nowhere near the team even with the limited options we have currently.
  6. They are going on about it because it was against one of the ugly sisters, the media are obsessed with pandering to them. If Bowman had tackled a player from any other team we would have heard nothing about it. And as the SFA will say nothing as usual in case they upset them, they both get away with constantly dragging this shite up and conveniently ignoring any similar incidents with their own players.
  7. from what i heard he was utter pish " would struggle to make the U20's never mind the 1st team" was the phrase used. The club was obviously stiched up by his agent and West Ham when we agreed the 6 month loan deal, according to wikipedia he has signed for Slovenian club NK Celje, this February.
  8. Its on Imrie so its a feckin fantastic tackle.
  9. yaaasss get in there, lets hope we can see the game out we need a win big time.
  10. Whatever people thought about Craig Brown he came in and sorted out the defence and made us hard to beat. Thats what we need right now, from whoever takes over.
  11. Have the rules changed this year if you have a really shit season do you miss out the championship and go straight to league 1.. cheer up ffs try positive thinking you might get to like it.
  12. If you are suggesting that the WS membership should be balloted / consulted / asked for their input on decisions the club has to make then we really are fucked nothing will ever get done. The board of directors which now includes representation from the WS along with the club Chief operating officer are the people empowered to make the decisions at the club nobody else.
  13. Playing with 2 wide men is a luxury we vant afford. we need a strong midfield so if mcHugh is going to play at centre half with Hennighan then i would have Pearson, Lucas and Lasley ( ideally as i think he is done he should be nowhere near the team but needs must as there are no options). We have not seen much of Frear but he looks like he has some pace so i would give him the nod over Ainsworth, who so far this season has been crap any time he has played. We need every player to give 100% effort from now on if we are to avoid the bottom 2 league places and Ainsworth does not do that.
  14. Can we park this thread until we are actually looking for a new manager, which in my opinion will be in the summer as i don't think any of the people running the club these days have the balls or willingness to sack McGhee
  15. Regarding Ainsworth i think its a much simpler explanation, he's been found out to be disinterested and lazy and has contributed nothing to the team all season so far, that's why he is not getting a game, playing someone to give you 5 mins of great play followed by 85 mins of the invisible man impressions are a luxury we cant afford.
  16. A few weeks ago i still thought McGhee would be the man to keep us up and maybe even repeat last season and get us a top 6 finish again but it has become increasingly obvious that he has lost it, even accepting that his choices were limited on Saturday due to injuries and suspensions his constant inability to see a problem and make changes during the game are costing us big time. We still have time to go on a decent run and haul ourselves back to safety but i am not sure if McGhee is the man to do it. There are dangers in bringing in another manager at this time of the season straight into a relegation battle but i think that's a risk we need to take because doing nothing is not an option. PS i am not getting all of this Simo Valakari for manager chat, if he had not played for us 20 odd years ago would anybody be calling for him to get the job i think not, and as for his record 1 success with an obscure Finnish team is hardly a glowing recommendation.
  17. I know that's the case but given the choice between him and Clay i would put him back in there, from now on in its about results. We all know he is done but as it stands he is the only option McGhee has, but that said you are probably right he will continue to go chasing up the park and be 2nd to every ball and end up diving in to tackles and chasing the game like he normally does.
  18. I know he is past it Dave but the midfield was a joke yesterday, Pearson is wasted out wide, and Clay was hopeless. So i would put Lasley in with Pearson and lucas to give the midfield a bit of bite, Lasley has no pace but have him in a holding role and let the others do the running. Frear might be a good shout he showed a willingness to get forward with a bit of pace when he came on, The main problems are the full backs, McMillan looked ok at right back but the left side is more of an issue, as chalmers should not be let anywhere near the team.
  19. Ok who else voted for Chalmers, 1 vote from the Milo the forums resident doom and gloom specialist is understandable but a 2nd vote from somebody else is just taking the piss,
  20. I would have thought that as the WS are the majority shareholders / owners then a recommendation from them would be sufficient, so going on what the members on this forum have been saying re their decision making and communications up till now them McGhee must be safe for another couple of seasons at least.
  21. In his post match interview on the BBC he said that the team he put out today was all he had available due to injuries etc and that they would probably start next week as well, so unless he comes up with a better organised defence/midfield than the ones we saw this afternoon then i fear the worst. Dropping Chalmers and putting McHugh in as centre half would be a start, and as much as it pains me to say this drop Clay bring back Lasley in to midfield beside Pearson.
  22. Pish, there is only a 9 point spread from Dundee in 6th to Inverness in 12th with 21 points still up for grabs before the split so any 1 of the 7 teams could be involved in the relegation fight. Granted Dundee, killie and Partick seem to have a bit of momentum just now so that may see them all right but all it takes is 1 or 2 defeats for them over the nest 7 games and they are back in the mix. This will go all the way to the end of the season its that tight.
  23. Went for Moult he never stopped trying and his goal to get us briefly level was well taken, A mention for McHugh when he went to centre half we looked a lot more solid though he done ok.
