Do you really believe that guff even if Scottish clubs had millions to spend the quality players wont come anywhere near the Scottish premiership, if they have options elsewhere. Lets be honest Hampden is a shithole of a stadium no good for watching games from anywhere other than the sides, steeped in the sectarian old firm bile, SFA reluctant to redevelop or move in case it upsets a diddy team like Queens Park. We need a new national stadium we can be proud of suitable for the 21st century good transport links, Good football viewing stadium etc etc but its the SFA so given they are a bunch of fuckwits i wont be holding my breath.

Agree with this as good as it was at the time its been 25 years FFS remember it yes but no need for special events, dinners etc. Do people really want to spend their hard earned cash listening to stories from long retired footballers i think not.

Could have all turned out different as my dad was a Rangers fan and had been going to take me for ages so grandpa got in first and steered me away from the dark side.

Not that it matters now but nobody would have been doing it on our behalf the rules are in place to allow the 4th place league finishers entry to Europe if the cup winning team has already qualified via other means. So a team needs to have played sufficiently well over the season to have earned a 4th place finish to be able to take advantage of the rules in place. The same situation arose when we made our champions league debut, we earned a 3rd place finish that year and benefited accordingly.

By nobody else i meant ready to step up and do a job in the 1st team now. If we have developing talent that may or may not make the grade in a few years then we will need to wait and see. But ideally we want our home grown talent to be ready for next season in August possibly June if we are in Europe so are there any more ready to join Cadden, Thomas and Hall to give McGhee more options,based on this seasons evidence i think there may not be, hope im wrong though.
