  1. Who was he cant remember us ever having a player with that name, what did he look like?
  2. Thought he was our best player tbh, looked solid all game
  3. If we hit the ground running and get back to the pre Christmas levels of performance last season we should win, tbh Ross county are not that good. 2-0 to the good guys.
  4. Since when was any tea or bovril sold at Fir Park described as hot, is this a new option the club are trialing.
  5. We are playing Accies at Fir park , Currently 1-1, at half time Donelly for us 41 mins Accies equaliser on 45 mins
  6. Feel sorry for Brentford, in those games 7 straight wins and 1 more from the final 2 would have brought automatic promotion and the top league for the 1st time in their history, and they blew it.
  7. Its a closed door match, no fans there it never happened
  8. Its never a good idea to sell your best assets to a rival team in the same league, and ideally a move to the EPL or Championship would be best. But if the Celtic bid ends up as the only one on the table and it is £3 million with add ons etc then so be it, it becomes a no brainer for the club.
  9. SR is apparently on Huddersfields radar for their new manager, according to the Sun / BBC gossip page https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53483930
  10. have a look at yourself ffs, thats the sort of BS you find on the ugly sisters forums, not on this one.
  11. Why not, Its no secret Turnbull is up for sale so the more clubs interested in his services the better for Motherwell, I suspect the Celtic scout was not the only one watching him.
  12. I would really like to see Turbull stay at Firpark this season at least, as I think we have the makings of a good squad . However we don't know if any deals were made with Celtuc to get 1st refusal on him after his recovery and to be honest if there is another £3 million bid on offer then he will be gone.
  13. I see we are joint top of the Premiership teams with St Mirren for the best designed club covid mask https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/scotland/53459100?intlink_from_url=https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/scotland&link_location=live-reporting-story
  14. Remembering he is back at a good club where he gets to play and scoring a few goals will do that for him
  15. Nah they would cover every game they play home or away as its only those two they make money from, nobody subscribes to sky sports to watch Hamilton play Ross county
  16. Sky are only interested in the ugly sisters games and only show other games because they have to as part of the deal. I am sure they would love to only negotiate with those 2, to save all the pretend interest in the other clubs.
  17. Its already in the odds an sods thread
  18. A nice article on the BBC web page about Motherwells South American adventures in the late 1920's where we were described as " one of the best teams in the world" https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53403363
  19. 30 years ago I would have and did so on many occasions, but these days probably not if the game was on TV. But that said football needs fans In the ground the games are souless without them, as the current EPL games on TV demonstrate. TV revenue is important for clubs but so is the match day experience, the clubs have come a long way since the Taylor report forced them to make changes, but that said some of the facilities and services on offer at SPL grounds today are still woefully inadequate. So its time the clubs started providing better facilities, to attract the fans and make them want to go to matches home or away
  20. So thats where you get all the inside info for your predictions about players and new signings, lurking about at training and bounce games.
  21. I know there will be no fans there but a 19:45 ko in Dingwall on a Monday night is garbage, is the game on TV ? If not why can't it be played on the Saturday with the other games, as I assume the Celtic game is on TV
  22. He deserves a big move, 3 year deal apparently and no doubt a life changing wage every week, I hope he gets a chance in the premiership. Best of luck to him.
  23. When all the chat re Hastie started I thought it might be a good move, but now I don't, apart from the couple of months of brilliance that won his move to Rangers he has done nothing to suggest the potential will be fulfilled. His loan spells have done nothing to suggest this either, so all we will be doing is no doubt t paying over the odds to develop a Rangers player for a year and fill a team position that we probably have cover for anyway. So no thanks from me.
  24. After his Rangers contract runs down and they release him without ever getting near the 1st team, he will end up looking for a club like Motherwell again, so we might as well have him now.
