We are having our 1st shite season in the past 7, its damage limitation now the players need to step up and be counted to ensure we finish no lower than 10th. Then come the summer tell most of them that they can get to feck. The biggest dissapointment i have is that we have fecked up big time and failed to build on the good years, regular europe, champions league, cup finals etc. Now we are facing a few years to build another team to try to get back to where we were
-
Listen guys we are a feckin shambles of a club this season..all we need to worry about is finishing 10th nothing else matters. The rebuilding work starts in the summer.
-
Keep the faith guy's...i know we were feckin pish 1st half last week but i think we will do the business on saturday, going for a win for the good guy's, new manager, new tactics and the start of our push up the league.
-
I think we will finish top 6, so i might risk a few quid, at those odds £25 will take care of next years season ticket

Sorry to be the prophet of doom but the WS could not make their predicted targets before the deal with Hutchison was done..we just dont have the fan base to make the WS work long term. Just about everybody who wants to join already has, where are the extra fans needed going to come from, i cant see this changing anytime soon.

Losing that late goal it felt like a defeat,a massive chance to give us a nice 5 point cushion blown, but to be fair county deserved a point. As for Black and his game plan, the man should be shown the door ASAP he is feckin clueless.
-
If it is Baraclough with Black as his no 2 then think how worse it could have been, Butcher would have brought Malpas back with him. If he has the job then all the best to him he needs to hit the ground running and get the team back on track. The fans should all get behind him and the team

I cant help thinking that if Leanne Dempster was still running the club this whole new manager / ownership saga would have been better handled. Every week that goes by with little or no clear updates, progress or information from the club, it just gives the impression that we have people running the club who may not be up to the job.
-
The season is not over yet, still 66 points to play for...ask the question again in May, Accies have had their 5 mins of fame they will end up bottom 6.
-
Maybe Even more so now that Tommy craig has been shown the door, you know how teams respond when the manager is dumped. I hope i am wrong and they are still shit at home.
-
Maybe its an elaborate scheme to take control of Motherwell so that there is another club for Sevco to re-emerge as when they finally go bust and die, bit like Airdrie done with Clydebank,
-
We could have Jose Mourinho on the short list and the usual suspects would moan and quote snippets from the web about how shit a manager he is. I dont care who we get, as long as the new man is in place sooner rather than later, the team needs stabillity and some focus. The next run of games are probably the most important we will have this season, we need wins to get us back on track.

But if Betty attends all the meetings, people like her and think she is the dogs bollocks, then come the WS AGM, when the nominations and votes for the WS members to take the board seats are conducted, then she may get the gig, so as extreme as it sounds its a possibility. Betty for chief exec, you know it makes sense.
-
To be honest i don't care who we get as the next manager, i will judge them on their results and how they ensure we finish at least 10th and no lower this season. Given the financial constraints he or she will be working under, i.e. no money to bring anybody in, then they need to be a good coach and man manager to get the best from what we have and develop our younger players and make sure they get their chance.
-
The potential candidates should be asked to provide a statement of their abilities and their plans for the club on this forum, then the fans could decide and have a vote to recommend a name to the board. A good democracy excersise in case the WS get control of the club.
-
We expected nothing from the last game against them, and we got a point, so anything we get from them will be a bonus. I am more interested in how we play as we have a run of games coming up against the teams around us in the league which are more important in my opinion. That said a result against them would be a welcome confidence boost to the team, so here's hoping, the heart says a narrow win for the good guy's, the head says another defeat, i hope the heart wins.

Thats the part that gives me serious concerns, if the WS have the majority of directors then they control the board and its decisions and by implication all aspects of the clubs business. The main issue i have with this is that those "board members " from the WS may not have any experience at all in running a business, improving the clubs finances etc and in these austere times thats not what a club like motherwell needs. If the elected board members from the WS have business experience then fair enough and we can judge them on their achievements, but i remain unconvinced that this will be the case. Being a good fan, working hard for the WS, organising functions etc are not the desired attributes for runing a multi million pound business.

I think the same, they make the Solano cartel look like an attractive proposition
-
I can't make it, same as the last Untd game so we will probably win again, an early goal then 80 mins of torture as we try to hold on.
-
The "experienced" players we have seen so far this season have been utter pish, so why not drop some of them and give others ie the younger playersa chance to show what they have to offer. If they are deemed good enough to earn a pro contract then they should be good enough for the 1st team especially when the current ones look as though they don't give a feck.
-
I am not a member of the WS but it seems to me that the longer this current ownership saga drags on and the more we hear about how they are handling it or not, the less impressed I am on their ability to run the club should they succeed. In these difficult financial times We need stability and professional people running the club, I have no doubt the WS committee work hard and mean well but having them running the club gives me serious concerns.

I was there and the defence was a shambles, you are right ICT could have had another 2 or 3 at least, bad finishing and some cracking stops from Twardzik limited it to 3. We offered nothing at all Ojamma was the only one who looked like he was interested the rest apart from Twardzik were pish.

When we see the white smoke over the main stand we will know, the players and staff will kiss his ring and the new manager will appear to the fans.
