Lighten up ffs giving personal abuse to somebody giving their opinion on a public forum is well out of order, come back in another 18 months when you have chilled out
-
He might be coming back, this from the BBC transfer page Hearts expect to announce Devlin Brian McLauchlin BBC Sport Scotland As for city rivals Hearts, Australian midfielder Cameron Devlin is set to be announced at some point today after relevant paperwork is completed. As for outgoings, winger Jordan Roberts is likely to return to Motherwell on loan.

This forum is beyond belief at times, every player we sign is either a brilliant signing or utter garbage depending on who you listen to before he has kicked a ball. Every signing is a gamble, brilliant play, skill and ability or lack of all those at previous teams is irrelevant its how he plays for us that matters, will he fit into the team, can GA get something from him that other coaches could not etc. So can we just allow the signings to settle into the team and whatever style they are asked to play and we can judge them in a few months.

And it's a hat trick, enough now.

that's the 2nd straight red card this week
-
When I saw it at the game I thought a red card was harsh, but the Sportscene highlights slowed it down and it was a shocker, straight leg off the ground and caught the Dundee player above the ankle, so Carroll can have no complaints. How much Collum saw of it in real time is debatable though, I get the impression he had the red card out before the Dundee player hit the grass.
-
Why did we not deserve to win,we kept a clean sheet, Dundee had one decent chance and never took it, they had lots of possession after that and went nowhere, Kelly never had another serious save to make. We also had one decent chance and we took it went 1-0 up and defended well to see the game out, football is a simple game you score more goals than your opponents you deserve to win
-
No diet coke on offer in the POD, none in the entire stadium apparently, so full fat or nothing, 2 mins before half time and they were running short on pies as well so improvements are still required. I used cash so not sure if they were taking card payments, but I never saw anyone using a card so I suspect it was cash only.
-
Yes Dundee had a fair bit of possession but they done nothing constructive with it everything went sideways, when Adams went off they had no idea what to do with the ball, and as for Kelly, he never had one non comfortable save to make all game. To be honest the game was poor only 1 decent chance for each team, we took ours and then defended well to see the game out, but in all honesty Dundee never really seriously threatened.

Went for Ojala, never flustered strolled the game, special mention for Watt.
-
Callum Lang with the winner for Wigan today, I think he is a much better player than what we saw from him during his time at Fir Park.
-
A good 3 points from a poor game, one decent chance that hit the bar was all that Dundee had to offer, they rely on Adams so much they were fecked when he went off. A great header from Watt for the goal after that we were comfortable, I thought Ojala was superb, he strolled the game. I am still concerned we are not creating a lot of chances, we can't rely on Watt every week so we need to improve on that but 3 points and a clean sheet is a good days work.

It probably has been announced on AB,s twitter but it won't be abstract enough so we won't notice.
-
It's called keeping the fans informed and tweeting we are hoping to sign a couple of players before the deadline is hardly revealing the clubs future business plan "Breaking news football club signs players ", get a grip FFS.

Cedric Kipre starting for West Brom v Arsenal in the EFL Cup tonight, not going well though, they are 4-0 down after 55 mins.

Ferguson, Mourinho, Stein, Shankly, Paisley, to name a few were all average players and world class manager / coaches in their respective eras

I see the daily rancid is reporting that apparently a super computer has predicted we will finish 7th this season, no surprise who they have as winners https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/supercomputer-issues-rangers-56-title-24828833

For me it was dangerous / Serious foul play by Stryjek, if it had been on Amaluzor we would all have been screaming for a red card, so it should be no different against your own player. Irrespective of that I think the ref halted play far too quickly, the whistle was blown before Kelly hit the plastic as it was clearly never a foul by Amaluzor.

Devante Cole on for Barnsley as a 2nd half sub today he looked good when he came on , not the best result though Barnsley gave up a 2-0 lead.
-
Yaaaaas get in there, coyw

2 goals so far for Turnbull today, 4-0 at half time St M look like getting a serious pumping today Update its 3 for Turnbull now, think that's his 1st career hat trick

Why is the comparison with Hastie unfair? Both of them came through the academy took their chance when it came and looked like they would become 1st team regulars. Then after a great few months each they followed the cash to deals with bigger clubs, which in my view was a mistake,as another season or two to develop at Fir park would have been a better prospect, but that said I won't criticise anyone for looking for a better wage and financial security. As it turns out both of them started well but failed to kick on resulting in them being loaned out, so the comparison is very valid.
-
He's not developed at all in my opinion it looked like he would kick on in the 1st few months after he went to Hull but that was it. The championship in England is a big step up from League 1 and for me he's not up to it, a few loan deals until his contract expires then he will be back up the road and end up in the championship up here alongside Hastie.

Success on the field would be great but can't be guaranteed, there are loads of clubs up and down the country who have won feck all in their entire existence, should they just give up then? Football clubs started right at the heart of local communities the vast majority of them still are including us and as fans we should be proud of that, or would you prefer we adopted the uglies model and take the fans for granted as long as a profit is made. Plus engaging with the community in whatever way we can has its upsides, more fans supporting their local club which brings bigger crowds, and so more income to the club, which ultimately could mean better players and on field success, but if it doesn't we will be a bit disappointed but smugly satisfied that as a club we have helped a lot of people in the community while trying.
