  1. And no doubt you will be on here after the game telling us all how you called it, do you enjoy being Yodo and Steelboy's padawan, learning the ways of negativity
  2. So by your theory, some random person sitting near you at fir park, coughing etc spreading the virus to everyone nearby is no risk, Any large gathering of people wherever it is , pubs, football stadiums, walking down the road etc is ideal conditions for spreading the virus. So until this virus is under control there will be no fans anywhere near stadiums, nothing to do with politics but all to do with public health, simples.
  3. Thats exactly the attitude to take, as has been proved by all the new students not giving a feck and getting mad with the bevvy and whatever else during freshers week and spreading the virus. Assume the worst case scenario and legislate accordingly, peoples health and lives are more important than fans getting to watch football.
  4. Unlucky.....we had great draws in all 3 rounds, 4th lowest ranked team in Q1, Coleraine did us a massive favour by beating Maribor to get us seeded in Q2 and we got them again one of the lowest ranked teams. In Q3 we avoided the likes of Basel and got the lowest ranked seeded team in our mini group. So we have had lots of luck draw wise in all 3 rounds but we never took the chance last night.
  5. Went for Watt, he is as slow as a week in the jail but was the closest we got to a goal tonight, he put in a good shift, mention for Campbell he had a good game as well.
  6. Rangers flying high, only lost 2 goals all season, great win away in Europe, full of confidence, while we have a very dodgy defence, zero goal threat, just been pumped by an average team, never beaten Rangers in the league, in years, can only be one outcome....home win
  7. Only 3 to blame tonight, Gallagher and O'Donnell for not picking up and gifting the 1st goal, and long for making a stupid tackle and giving away the free kick. Up till then HBS never looked like scoring. Even at 1-0 down we were well in the game and under no real pressure until Gallagher had a meltdown inside 2 mins and it was game over. We actually played ok tonight but our lack of goal threat and defensive meltdown made an average beatable team look good, and that's what pisses me off most.
  8. Totally agree he is brutal, gives me the fear big time, at the 1st goal he was in no one's land marking nobody, not a clue where the runners were, and not his only error, needs dropped ASAP, not good enough.
  9. Thats what annoys me most, Beer Sheva are bang average, no better than what we face in the SPL, the game had extra time and pens all over it till we gifted them the 1st goal, we had no belief from the start, never got in their faces from the off, which coupled with shambolic defending was always going to end badly.
  10. Gallagher wrong side of his man and wtf was Lamie doing marking nobody, absolute shocking defending, gifted a goal to a team who had hardly been in the game, typical Motherwell. We are still in it but its a tough ask now
  11. So thats three trout and a Mullet then.
  12. Full rerun of the game on BBC Alba at 6pm, sky channell 141
  13. The sarcasm in the comment totally missed, some people need a dose of tongue in cheek humour to kick in.
  14. So we play the younger players while we save our cash waiting to sign the next Zinedine Zidane or Lothar Matthaus as a quality midfield starter and we get pumped week in week out. You and the other usual suspects would be on immediately bleating about how SR is making a James Hunt of it and we should be " ditching youth" and signing some experienced players. Its not a difficult concept to grasp, they don't get a regular start because they are not good enough to warrant one at Premiership level. Getting one maybe two players from the reserve team squad stepping up and holding down a 1st team regular start is a bonus for any team, so for us getting Turnbull, Hastie, Scott, Cadden, Campbell, Erwin, to step up we have done very well they are probably our class of 92, the rest however are not good enough, simples.
  15. Even if he is not 100% fit, would still be a better option than the likes of Seedorf , Hastie, or white
  16. 1. Surprise us all with a brilliant performance and win? 2.. keep it solid at the back and earn a point? 3. Or play like we have been in recent weeks, no cutting edge up front but still be in the game late on and then feck it up and lose. Answers on a postcard please to SR at Fir Park
  17. Yes thats the reason if they were ready to step up they would be given the chance, the same way scott, Turnbull, Hastie, Campbell, Cadden, Erwin etc were given their chance.. I am sick of all the constant rambling on this forum of "play the youth players" does any body really think if SR suddenly played the 3 players you mention we would improve as a team, I think not, we don't have the class of 92 in the colt team. They are playing in the reserves for a reason ie they are good enough to be on pro contracts at a premiership club, but not good enough to be a 1st team starter. So unless you have done your coaching badges, and see these players on a daily basis, then I think I will take the judgement of SR and his team about who can improve the team rather than your constant rants about " play the youth"
  18. Great draw for us avoided the big names so we have 2 winnable games, Great chance to progress, coyw
  19. I thought he could have done better as well, if he had saved 1 of the 2 pens during the game and saved us an extra 40 mins of worry or am I just being a bit picky
  20. From the 3 seeded teams, the Czech team would be the best draw , we don't want Basel or Besitkas
  21. Voted for mugabe, thought he was solid all game, till he got caught wrongside for the pen, he has been getting better each game, think he might be a decent signing.
  22. Agree re Seedorf and White but I think Mugabe gets better every game, unlucky to be sent off tonight but for me he has been a very decent signing.
  23. Let's be honest here, yes we were brutal 2nd half but had 2 saves to make in 120 mins, two soft pens were the only way Coleraine were scoring, Though we were superb in extra time shut the game down, rode our luck a wee bit but we needed a break, that mob were blowing out their arse after 20 mins ET. And as for the pens, Carson what a keeper, so despite a bad a performance 2nd half, we are in the 3rd round draw, and another £250k in the bank, happy days.
