Spot on Dave the initial minimal contact was well outside the box and as the pictures show the RC player was already on his way down well before he got to the box but diving forward to make sure he made the line. At best it was a Foul outside the box even then it would have been a soft one but never a penalty Beaton was conned big time and got no help from the linesman, the sooner we get VAR the better.

Some perspective is required here, we have been feckin brutal since Christmas, very rarely playing the same team two weeks in a row, struggling to score goals etc but as it stands we are still only 2 points away from a European spot and due to play a Hibs team who have been equally shite as well for a place in the Scottish cup semi finals ffs There are 12 points on offer before the split so we still have a very good chance to secure a top 6 place, a Euro spot, a cup semi final place and another season in the premiership so for me that would be a very good return for the season. You never get judged on where you start , it's the finish that matters.

The RC player is already going down with minimal or no contact, nowhere near the ball, there would not be a long VAR review gor that one, no penalty.

Why does everyone think that Tony Watt has suddenly become Mo Salah 1 goal in 5 games for Untd and by all accounts it was more to do with shite defending rather than brilliant play by him.

Watts goal scoring efforts for us were a very strange blip on his career stats, we benefited big time but he is fundamentally pish. His 1st goal in 5 games tonight and he won't suddenly go on a Roun of goals now. So we can only improve, 7 games to the split and 21 points to be won 4 wins from that should see us top 6 and therefore in with a decent shout at a Euro spot, keep the faith guys we will come good.

We have the 3rd worst goal difference in the league Dundee and StJ are worse.
