All I need now is some kind person to provide car parking space in their drive for the day. Travelling from darkest South Lanarkshire, need car for return journey home. And a bus seat of course.

On the few occasions i watched the U19 last season Hetherington to me was very similar in style of play in many ways to Jennings. Different level of course but these guys in the circumstance we find ourselves in must be given every opportunity.

I visited the website yesterday and it certainly appeared to be accepting online registrations at £52. From a personal point of view i wonder if a monthly direct debit option of say £5 would be benificial. I intend to take out a season ticket this week and another £52 is stretching the finances a bit whereas £5/10pm would not.

Straight Question(S) To The Board Of Mfc Re. Sfl Proposal
Villageman replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
Quite correct. You haven't read the words "above us at all costs". However the rules now being proposed are 1) Newco placed in SFL1 and 2) Play offs to ensure that The Newco end up promoted. These rules are certainly placing them above the rest of the teams in the SFL at all costs. Furthermore inmo if the new rules are not successful in achieving the desired result a newer set of rules will be proposed to solve that problem. -
What makes you believe that the authors of this document ever had the INTELLIGENCE to consult the fans, forums or otherwise.

My understanding is they have to agree to meet only the "football debt" i.e Hearts, Dundee Utd presumably the Austrian club.

No No No to Hately in midfield. Jennings is a ball winner with very good ball distribution skills. I don't think I am being hard on Hately to say he has neither. Hope Stuart McCall can find an ace in the pack.

Straight Question To The Board Of Mfc Re. Rangers Newco
Villageman replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
The statement like the earlier one can be taken any way you want to. However when lquidators are appointed the assets of Rangers have to be sold to the highest bidder. That means Ibrox, Murray Park etc. Green saying he will buy the "Club" for 5.5m is imho rubbish. The Newco/SPL argument is critical granted but there are other important decisions to be made prior to that. Players are assets so in theory they could belong to liquidators. Did i not read that the PFA argued that contracts are void and players are free to move out of contract. Where do the Newco play?. Under licence at Ibrox?. Against SPL rules?. I guess I am really saying that the many other questions have to be resolved before a YES/NO vote is taken. Is it feasable that these other points are not resolved prior to the beginning of the new season?. Forgot about the double contracts, complicates it even further. -
I,m in for a minimum of £25. Still trying to decide if I can afford personal membership. Don,t post much!!!! 73 years old and still a YTS.

Sorry seen all of them when they played for Well. Davidson, Marinello and Co, were past their best at that time and nowhere near Willie Hunter,Pat Quinn, Andy Weir and a few more of the Ancell babes. Just my opinion though.

Without belittling the efforts of either players efforts St. John had four/five teammates to provide the ammunition Willie P only had Bobby G. sorry about the stutter must be away past my bedtime

As already said keeper kept the score down but some of the well finishing was poor to say the least, ironically the keeper was not blameless at the goal. Two coloured guys first touch, skill on the ball and control were first class. Thought No 6 (Hetherington?) looked like a younger Jennings with bit more mobility.

Maybe I missed news so i will apologise if thats the case. What happened to Dario Quinn. I know he was on lloan to a junior team. Has he been released?

Muir did all that was asked of him, to be honest that was not much. Hollis was busier in the first half.

Punk_in_drubic I live in Symington Sth.Lanarkshire. I will be heading into central Glasgow Tuesday morning. I am looking for two tickets, one of which is for my 10yo grandson so I would only take them from craildo1 if they not for the singing section (semi final this was also standing) so for him watching the game would be severely restricted. If you, I, and craildo1 can make arrangements payment etc.I would happily pick them up (all five). I am assuming they are for M,welll end. ps i have already made contact with dk2301 who MAY have tickets but I would rather end the uncertainty.

I consider myself a core supporter altho not a ST holder. I can even go back watching the 52 final in the schoolboys enclosure. This year i have attended all home games except bigot brothers (refuse to subject my 10 yo grandson to the bile} have been to both semis and other rounds and a few away games because I now live a fair distance and some grounds are closer plus European games. Tickets have been bought where required so the database should confirm this. I have heard nothing from registering for the ballot. It may be throwing my toys out the pram but if I do not get tickets there will be no Fir Park next year.

Now they were FOOTBALLERS. And they didn,t come through club youth teams like today. they were from Junior football. As said previously memory is likely to be suspect if you can remember watching them but I.m sure Pat Quinn played his first game after joining in a friendly against a South American team. Score was something like 7-1. Marvellous football!!!. Agree about Charlie Aitken and he was good with the ball at his feet as well but only when played at wing half and not inside forward (youngsters please get your parent to explain these words). My favourite was Willie Hunter subllime skills and not appreciated by everyone.

I know it was meant toungue in cheek but some of the past great wing halves for Well would be hurt by being called defensive. Charlie Aitken, Cox, Redpath to name three.
-
Could be interesested. Megabus from where and time approx.?. I am located middle distance between Edinburgh/Glasgow so we need to make additional transport arrangements.
-
Close call but i am going for Gannon,Coke and Forbes.

Just a bit of clarification, Waterloo roundabout is NOT closed, it is the road from the roundabout to Newmaiins? (1st on left coming from Wishaw) which is closed. Diversion via roundabout at Verve car sales I guess. Passed thro today.

Being a Well supporter for half a century and more, and living round the corner from Fir Park for most of the early years my memory of the stand being built in this fashion was because the owner of the house(s) needed to extend to the corner refused to sell to the club. One house at least would have had to be demolished.
