Possibly explained by him being the most experienced outfield player on the bench. -

I hate that being given as a reason for sloppy passing. Should be one of the first items in the coaching manual. -

Meant to add we lost control of the game when MgHugh went off. -

Once again its funny how we see the match differently. I thought Ainsworth goal was about the only positive thing he did.I know we were slack further back at their goal but the move started in midfield when he could not be bothered challenging for the ball. McDonald wasn't any better. In these niggly games by the opposition I wish he would not get involved either physically or verbally. He should be long enough in the tooth to know it badly affects his game. I watched the start of the Rangers Hamilton game and there were I think 4 bookings early on and none of them were as bad as what went unpunished at Kilmarnock. They were intent not to lose the game by being physical which usually means lack of skill. If they are going to continue in that vein I hope they go down and take that B****** Thomson with them. Finally there were something like 3500 Killie fans spread accross 2 half empty stands whilst nearly 1000 Well fans were forced to sit like sardines in half of the other. Bad show, dont know what it was supposed to achieve. -
Would not have classed Clay as impressive last night, maybe good or like to see more of. Comfortable on the ball. Would not class him either as ball winner only, he did get around the park making passes, yes maybe simple ones and not in the defence splitting category and he was prepared to offer advice to colleages. Did i not read in another post he was criticised for missing a goal scoring opportunity. Of the three players you mention McHugh is signed and is defensive mid, Campbell is untried at this level and every bit as much a risk as any other player we are currently looking at. Now i admit to not being Lasleys greatest fan but surely he has to be replaced soon. On last nights showing for me Clay was much better than Lasley in finding players (ours) with passes.

Money, Money, Money. Deal with sky probably set up before he joined Hibs. Skippy will be disappointed.

Given all the considerations eg friendly etc. and also budget / contract I was impressed enough with the trialist yesterday to like to see him against stronger and more competetive situations. Possibly Annan,East Stirling or Stranraer. Him and McHugh are broadly similar type.

Given that it was mostly u20's reasonably happy what we saw today. Team looked better as a unit in the secondhalf.Mcmillan and McLean worked well together in the first with McLean moving inside in the second half. Ferguson looked comfortable on the floor but he and Kennedy were I thought poor in the air. Heneghan is a powerful cb and him and Ferguson a much better pairing. McHugh didnt waste many balls and never ventured forward much, Trialist (13) was a busy player with good passing and I thought his performance just shaded McHughbut that could be because he played a bit further forword with Campbell dropping back. Big disappoints for me was Thomas although mid just behind the striker is not his natural position and Ainsworth who wasted most opportunities that came his way. Finally Moult is not a lone striker,

Not exactly close but planning to go. Was considering going to Abroath tomorrow, checked their website for post code for sat nav, they have KO as 3pm. Stadium/shop will be open from 2.15. Well office closed.

Hibs friendly back? to 3pm on MFC site.

Re Leitch. Looks like BBC are as confused as the the posters on here. One report on youth players moving says "likely to receive compensation" . Second report Lancashire paper says "released by Motherwell".
-
There is one thing a lot of the posters on this site are good at and that is jumping in with their own version of the facts. Now we have F***** up and it it is Burrows fault. Why don't we wait until the club make a statement about this. One point to consider too is I believe he was U17 last season and probably still classed as an academy player. So who offers academy players contracts?. Academy director Scott Leitch?.
-
Agreed it says 19.00. I looked at the updated list when updated for the Arbroath game.

Was 3pm orginally and still is according to what i can see on the Well site.

If we were to secure Bannigan, Brill(If fit) and McDonald then I would say that we've had a quietly successful transfer window. Still need a left back, and i am not sure that Bannigan meets my idea of the midfield creator required.
-
Provided it is not at the expense of skill i am quite happy for a bit of height.

Is leith moving from Edinburgh?.

Other than job title do not see much change. The C.O.O. is responsible for the day to day running of a Company much like a General Manager. Reporting lines may differ though.

You will be expecting that same realism on this forum next

Can't win can we. give players a 1 year contract and it's a wtf. give them 2 /3 year contracts and they don't progress and the comment will be why did we give them an extended contract".

I was about to boast and raise the betting to 50% too late 60% mentioned. I have vague memories of League cup final vs Hibs 1950 I think more vivid memories for obvious reasons of the 52 final vs Dundee. Dalziel High schoolboy aged 14 in the specially reserved stand enclosure. If I had to name a favourite amongst all the talent over the the years for me it would be Charlie Aitken a very talented and graceful Wing Half very often played out of position at Inside Forward. If the last part is confusing to posters ask your dad!

Very few if any. If Sbragia is an example the coaches the Sfa appoint rarely recognise skill and talent.

Obviously you have more up to date information than me. Didn't realise he was being freed!.
