    Who could that be

Looks a like Tait to me from what I can, hard to see any tattoos from a distance if any, which is why folk will think it’s Fox but everything else links it to Tait for me, wee baldy patch, funny ears, the hair.

Hardly exclusive especially on here & a repeat on what others post. So you’ll know about the incoming striker who can play ‘along the front three’?

O’Hara is no better than we have. There are players in front of him. Doesn’t represent a value for money with a years’ contract at current club to be paid up. Losing  a midfielder may well change the outlook, but, suspect there would be better available if our budget was met.

When did anyone else say Hartley was away before I posted it? Okay with White it was pretty widely known he’d been linked and said to have signed but didn’t know if it was actually true did we?

In isolation, I'd certainly be happy for O'Hara to return. Did well stepping in to the Donnelly role when he was out. But it is an area of the park we do have good choices already.

Just reading Barry Fry claiming O'Hara (or agent) knocking back a 3 year deal offered by us. 50k transfer fee.

All that doesn't seem to add up with recent quotes from Mark himself in the paper.

Player himself says it’s “news to me” when replying to viva Motherwell on twitter which indicates he’s no rejected it so...

Behave. I wouldn’t say so. Doubt I’d be the only one of that thinking on here.

Press soundbite doesn’t mean “has been long in discussion” or “the club want him”. As for easily working it out? Player can admit he wants to stay all he wants - I’m not sure stretching any budget to grant him his wish is good recruitment In any case.

Well recently if you take a wee look back I said on Wednesday, White was a done deal and also before any updates on the squad I said Hartley would be away, was I correct? Yes. Not here for a tit-for-tat with you.

So I take it you don’t rate O’Hara as player then, unlike most who’d be very happy for him to return especially when there’s a chance we could lose Campbell.

I’d rather he didn’t full stop safety wise or other.

i certainly don’t buy your 95% or basically done quotes either. Your scoops each & every transfer window/close season go beyond parody.

Aren’t a decent proportion of them correct though? Of course some may be wrong but that’s not exactly my fault is it, I’m just going off based on what I’m told. So because you don’t want to believe it then I’m wrong? The O’Hara deal has been in long discussion, the player openly admitted himself he wants to stay and the club want him so it’s pretty easy to work that one out. It’s more the club don’t want to pay a players wages in tough times like this when they don’t need to and the season isn’t even close to starting back yet.

Honestly? Club cost cutting due prohibitive testing regime, but, we’ll offer training facilities?

We need to move on from O’Hara.

Well I mean if this deal is basically done for safety wise and I mean he does stay here you’d rather he stayed and trained with us rather than train with 20/30 other players then come to us if you are bringing safety into it.

With O,Hara do you think we might be waiting to see how many take up season ticket refunds as would make sense .

Most likely be left til later in the window save paying unnecessary wages, however that would rely on him getting a pre season with Peterborough, unless he trains with us up until the deal is done.

Where are you getting that from? Taking a glance at things like their P&B page, they largely seem to think it’s the right decision to let him go, saying he was good a few years back but has drifted through the last couple of seasons and looked shot of confidence. Not a whole lot, if any, saying that it’s a poor decision to let him go. Not really bothered either way about Fraser as I don’t know a whole lot about him, but find this claim that he’ll definitely be missed as rather disingenuous.

Probably as expected with most fans but was from twitter from Ross County’s and how his own posts.

  9. Someone mentioned on here the other day about Marcus Fraser and on twitter there seems to be a possible hint with a County fan I presume saying he’s coming to us, also Tony Watt retweeted it (ex Celtic team mates). Ross County fans seem gutted to lose him, I haven’t really seen him stand out against us but I’ll stand to be corrected and await judgement until I see him play for us.

That'll teach me for relying on the Official site! He's still listed in the Reserve squad.

None of the reserves have been announced as of yet don’t know why though as a couple were on it even before the first team squad update was announced.

  11. Don’t be fooled by livi fans saying he fell down the pecking order. He was crucial to them this season playing nearly every game this season. He’s most likely informed  livi he won’t be renewing so they’ve dropped him and obviously with signing Ambrose and another CB that’s clear. It’s a deal that’s been pretty much completed for months.

Dont rate O'Donnell that highly personally. IF we were in the market for a Right Back, we could do a lot worse than Marcus Fraser who has just left Ross County! He's a "Robbo Type" big physical no nonsense player, more of a "proper" right back instead of attacking, and is a crackin CD as well

Why would you not want an attacking full back? Look at Carroll chipped in with a few goals and assists, really good crosser of the ball and comfortable with it, something Tait offered from RB especially his crossing. We don’t want to be a team who just have a defensive back line of 4 CBs that just hoof the ball up as far as they can. Anytime I’ve seen him I’ve not been entirely impressed but that’s been for struggling Ross County sides.

Any news on O’Hara, is he out of contract, got better and better the more he played, would be a great bit of business, especially if we can get him for free...

Trying for a permanent deal if not then it will be a loan again, 95% done just sorting out finances of what is best for both clubs it seems. White is also a done deal.

Regarding Lamie he’s an excellent signing IMO provides first team competition at CB as well as cover at LB.

I would not rule it out, he will have his admirers for sure. Not the most technically gifted but as you state he does have other qualities.

I remember nipping over to the Bournemouth forum for a wee look when there was talk about Turnbull going to them, a lot of seemed to like what they seen from Campbell as well.

If he is, it will knock a few points off our great youth system if a lad of 19 punted by Oldham is better than people we have trained for last couple of years.

Exact same point to the boys last season then regarding Ross MacIver a 20 year old we signed from Ross County after he was released. Maybe have a look and think wait the young lad Robinson has actually played for NI u21s, player a first team game for Oldham as well as going on loan to Crusaders playing a couple games. He is still young and when he came in evidently proved he was worth a contract and better than most already there.
As you can probably see there isn’t  many you could say or pick out he seems ready to step up is there? When you compare them to the likes of Turnbull’s and Campbell’s etc.

  16. Could be a new manager we are looking for very soon rather than players with the NI job becoming Vacant. Seen a lot of news things online suggesting Robbo is the favourite, wouldn’t begrudge him that move but feel he can still do a lot more in club management and hopefully lead us into Europe.

  17. Robbo had an interview and said we have signed a few players on pre contracts, with white being one mentioned, and most likely O’Hara coming in. Hopefully we can strengthen this summer rather than rebuild as such.
