such over reaction again today , its two games , two fuckin games ... start all this bollocks if its still the same end of September. We were 3rd last year and would anyone like to tell us we didnt have two bad games last year.
yeah that one baffled me hes done nowt since a purple patch and maybe shows that players should jump at the big money when it comes because on what we've seen so far he will be playing in Scottish league one in two years time ... hopefully not with us lol
that isnt something to cling too , its down right inaccurate most of our players are early to mid 20's. The young naive stuff is bollocks. Thats the manager just trying to protect his players and cover his neck every manager would do the same.
no we should have beat Ross County they were pedestrian and we still did enough as mediocre as we were to deserve to beat them. Today we were totally inept all over the park.
Hastie is still showing that all he had was a purple patch and nowt else, but like everything its early days. Had we won the opening two games we wouldn't be championship contenders, equally two defeats doesnt make us relegation fodder .......yet
Some ridiculous over reaction by many Motherwell fans tonight. To listen to Kris Boyd and some of our fans you'd think RC had us on the rack. Other than one effort early on the caused us no problems. We did enough in that game to win it as pedestrian as we were. If we have 60% possession in most of our games we will win more than we lose. The over reaction to the defeat is because tonight was so typically Motherwell they build us up then we can't deliver when expectation is there.
We will need to agree to differ my point is doesn't matter how good Motherwell teams have been that's a fixture we are rarely if ever going to do anything in. You contend we got pumped because we werent fit. I contend had we been ready and fit we'd still lose that fixture so learn nowt
The point is it wouldnt matter what kind of team we have we rarely if ever are going to compete and get a result against Rangers at Ibrox. im not saying dont play them Im just saying we learn nothing from that fixture
I said all day I seriously question what we'd get out of playing Rangers at Ibrox other than pumped. Stephen Craigan talking bollocks saying we will take alot out of the game .
you are right however I think that call will be Skys and not the clubs and I dont suspect they will be overly keen to permit much outwith their control. My only slight concern if that became main stream would be the effect on away attendances. Slowly but surely away attendances are rising. Thats a good thing it creates atmosphere. I think streaming availability for all games could kill that market although possibly increase the revenue streams
Would I go to Edinburgh or Dundee on a pissin wet freezing January day when I could sit in my comfy warm house watch the game and save myself dosh , a bit of a no Brainer.
If you take 3 OF games at Fir park average of 7000 a game (21,000) then an average of 500 away fans for the other 16 home games (thats conservate ) that's over £700,000 out of the club coffers thats hardly minimal effect.
Alan Burrows is too forward thinking for those traditionalist dinosaurs. Fresh Ideas and thinking is something Scottish football needs but will never get.
"Hes better than what we have " ??? is he really... hes showed bugger all since his purple patch with us. Even some very ordinary players can hit a purple patch. For me the Jurys is out on him.
Exactly the Jury is very much out on Hastie , He played 17 games for us .. arrived in a bang and showed bugger all since. That doesnt mean he wont do a job but equally theres a chance hes a nowt but pedestrian who hit a purple patch. Time will tell
