One thing we are good at is being consistent at being inconsistent
We’re starting to get pretty consistent at not winning, that’s one win in five now with three very tough games coming up. The football has certainly improved but it’s important to start getting more points on the board even if it’s playing hoofball at times.

Nice to see the optimism, not sure I have quite that level of confidence, never a easy game in Edinburgh.

When you have a large section of your travelling support that have proven consistently they can't be trusted to behave themselves, it not really that hard to work out why this sort of thing happens.
Still don’t understand why Livi don’t just use the whole of that stand when the two ends have no supporters in them.

Some of the posts on this thread did not age well. Fantastic result.

Boringly predictable sadly.

My fear under Hammell is we play that open game and totally go for it, there does need to be a balance.

5-1 to Celtic.

Lack of signings of better players than we have will see us involved in a relegation battle right up to the last day . Got to question the recruitment during the window SH got no help .
Oh Yoda, here we go again.

17 days of mourning announced. Irrespective of your views, everyone surely expected this weekend would be cancelled. As long as that's it.
I thought so. I’m personally not big on the monarchy but I don’t have a problem with what’s happening. We now live in the world of social media where keyboard Warriors rule, Where there is often seen as being more value in insulting others than showing a little kindness. We will see much of what’s best in people over the next few days, hopefully we don’t see too much of the worst.

Sadly, some cannot help themselves from making political point scoring. The death of the Queen was always going to result in extreme views either way. But not on football forums is my take.
I would like for the football to go ahead with a minute's silence. But I suspect the authorities will worry that certain elements / supports will let Scottish Football down and that will be one of their key concerns.
My view is it will be what it will be, we survived the inability to go to games through covid, we will survive missing a Saturday and move on.

May she rest in peace, she dies just where she would have wanted to, in a place and country she loved.

You might even say it’s imperative when you see our 6 fixtures after the Ross County game:
Hearts (H); Celtic (A); Hibs (A); Rangers (H); Aberdeen (H) Dundee Utd (A).
All the “big 6 city clubs”. It’s a tall order to try and get points from that run.
Outside the old firm I tend to think there are always opportunities to gain points, much of a muchness in my view.

I think the issue is that JFH let him go and they now only have 1 or 2 recognised strikers
Time will tell, I just don’t see it.

Jimmy Floyd punted by Burton. Hopefully our contract with them & Moult is secure. Disaster if the new manager cancels it next week
I doubt any new manager is going to look at his stats over the last four years and be desperate to take him back. Regardless of who’s in charge I would be amazed if he’s not a free agent in the summer.
-
Looking at the way we are playing now what’s obvious is Alexander actually signed some good players. Goss, Slattery, Tierney, Spittal, McGinn, for starters, he just refused to let them play.

I just checked and Moult's younger than KVV!
Yes I think people forget he was only something like 26 when he left us.

Which forum members are the strippers.

What I would say is it’s brought a real feel good factor to the club, look at the response on Twitter, the supporters love the guy. That alone actually gives the whole club a lift and as much as I have reservations you can’t beat that feeling.

Well he’s back and as such hope nothing but the best for him.

Amazing how many grown mens yfronts are soiled more for moult coming back than their wife coming in the front door.
Depends on the wife.

Could have been better, could have been worse, we look to have a decent left back at last and have added another two useful additions on top. The main worry for me at the moment is up front, Van Veen will miss game time and we have nobody to replace him ( I will believe the Moult rumours when we see him in the stadium but not the right option anyway if true). So maybe free agents it is.

At the moment my attention is more on us signing anyone, time is running down.

He’s going to offer nothing to big city clubs, he would be lucky to make the bench.

That’s exactly why we need var. The ref would have been asked to take a look at it.
