I despise diving/feigning injury . Something we'd do well to get rid of, together with VAR. Dishing on strong punishment like this as many have said is welcomed. That being said there's a way to do it and that's being clear with all clubs that moving forward players will dealt with in xyz manner. Typically this happens at the start of a season. It's zero surprise that it's non OF clubs that first feel the wrath. To do it retrospectively like this with such a severe punishment should be baffling but sadly just another piece of evidence of how badly the game is being run.

I’d bring in 2 new wingbacks . we need cover or an alternative on the left . for right id be thinking an upgrade on what we have . JK picks up lots of niggling injuries that keep him out and SOD simply doesn’t have the engine to get up the park . Sparrow for me isn’t a wing back and not sold he suits our set up , he was far more effective last season . these 2 positions together with CF are for me the weakest part of the team an area we’d be wise to invest in .

Like Hibs , other teams will set up like this against us , those two lines in front on us made it tricky to do anything . id add to that having 4 centralish midfielders didn’t give the right balance . When teams play like this against us we need guys to carry the ball forward . Whether it be wingbacks or others . yesterday we played too many backward passes or then tries the eye of the needle to get through 2 lines straight to JT - it simply won’t work . thankfully we have an incredible manager who I’m sure will adapt the team for Falkirk
-
Agree re the fullbacks being missed . We had too many players going through the middle . Watt , Pritestman and fadginer is one too many . I also think teams have sussed how to play against us - we’re not able to play through the lines like we did a month or so ago . we will need to adapt and ideally get some of the injured players back .
-
Thought that was poor - lacked energy and some of our forward play a bit pedestrian . would have liked to give Nicholson some game time - needed more creativity
-
We’ve been somewhat disjointed in the first half - not sure it’s working with either fadinger or sparrows position . Hoping we can do more in the 2nd half

Slattery is out of contract at end of season and pretty sure he already extended. there's a big IF that im sure will convince players to stick around and thats IF Jens commits to stick around I suspect the majority of the squad would do the same.

I thought there were only 4 spaces and one being reserved for Scottish cup ? Jen’s mentioned Falkirk still being in the cup yesterday when asked about euro which I thought tied back to the old ruling - i could be wrong

Honestly think perspective is being lost by some. We're well on track to be 4th. We got beat today by a better team who played well and have the depth, strength, quality of players to hurt us and they did. It's not because we were poor , or have poor players or have a ref who caused it. Today we came off second best, albeit still competed well with them until the penalty. I do wonder if all the hype and suggestion of winning the league has skewed many perspectives. I don't agree that a bubble has burst - we're too many games into the season to refer to bubbles/lucky streaks. We're a damn good team and on course to be 4th.

Beans for the pie ? oh , 3 points ☺️

Only second to watching the team ☺️ I can remember trying to endure listening to previous managers and found it hard , tedious . I used to think if I struggle with 10 mins what must the players think listening every day at training . shows just how much of a class act this guy is.

We lost our 4th of the league in March - can’t ever recall saying that before . we are building momentum who knows how long it will continue . I’m not overly concerned about the need to bounce back - we lost a game where the opponents took their chances . im assuming we’ll continue to focus on what we do well and we can enjoy the rest of the season . oddly now the pressure is off - no more talk of winning the league - be great to cement 4th spot

Impressive that we've managed to unearth the quality that we have this season. Agree that Just is different calibre and no doubt all the mid to attack benefit from having him around. If we play our cards right we may retain likes of Fadinger, Watt, Priestman, Said, RCC and maybe Slattery v's likes of Welsh, TW and Just are all destined for far bigger clubs and good luck to them. I do wonder how much will boil down to whether Jens stays, as suspect many players would follow him. If he is willing to stick around suspect most of the players would give it another season, with the exception of TW who Im not convinced we want to keep forever ( I agree with other comments about him showing signs he cares more about himself than the team) For now at least we can continue to stay in dreamland and see how the remainder of the season plays out.

Completely agree - over the years there’s been good performances and some tough watches . can’t ever remember this standard of slick play and complete domination , not just now and again but again and again. just soaking it all in , don’t want this season to end .
-
I don’t think there was anything in that - I’d be fuming if other way round

Dare to dream. We are the best footballing team in the league. The other teams will drop points. We may drop points - but generally have the best form of any club. It is of course a long shot ie 40/1 but not the 1000/1 when the league started. Meanwhile Im happy to sit back and enjoy the show, it's been brilliant to watch, simply brilliant.

Loved that - a drubbing has been coming all season - picked a great night for it

Shows how accustomed to winning we’ve become . 24hrs on and I’m still gutted , simply not used to seeing a poor performance or losing . if someone told me we’d have lost 4 games in all competitions by the time valentines days had passed I’d have never believed it . Lady Luck wasn’t there in the cup and sure a loss had to come at some point . be great to see us get back on it on Saturday , put my lucky well hat back on and cheer us on to victory.

So much wrong tonight with selection and another slow start to a game - this time punished quite disjointed all over the pitch started with 3 central defenders Not at the races and went out with a whimper .
-
One of the few games we’ve deserved to lose tbh
-
He’s only himself to blame
-
I don’t think we’ve offered much in the first half - we look disjointed and not really got going We could do with getting a grip on midfield and get into our flow
-
He did foul but clearly fell - why did var not step in ?
-
We’ve had a couple of very tough games in the last week - can see why there’s some changes fingers crossed

This is a new era for us as fans, previously after winning a run of games we simply knew a loss would come. This season there's only been 1 game we deserved to lose and we did. At the back of my mind I know we might lose here or there but the facts are clear and hard not to expect to win - particularly given we've already won 3x and drawn with them. Let's go win the cup tie - 'well deserved.
