Poor first half - not said that too often but we’re not on it tonight

Longelo is much better when RCC plays as they buddy up well . Expecting a decent game, Falkirk for last couple of seasons have had a good approach to attractive football and one of the few teams who take a positive outlook . We’ve reacted brilliantly post cup exit, be fabulous to get another 3 points and keep momentum.

Long may every club who plays against us have an off day !! Completely with you Mio. It simply wouldn't suit the broader narrative that a small club with a foreign manager could ever be the reason to stop the boys of Scottish Football. We have had lots of plaudits re style but it's always tainted with a 'but'. We play attractive football but 'cant defend' , we 'can't finish' . ' 0-0 was a damp squib' Facts are we're 3rd, we're 3rd top scorers and have the 5th best goals conceded. Add to that we've all got eyes and can how good we are

I thought that was a damn decent game - we prob deserved to win . we gave a very good hearts team very little opportunity - another clean sheet is key .

McGinn - really decent clearance off the line or TJ for the way he snaps up the opportunities - he really is ruthless.

We look like a team that’s becoming a little more streetwise in the 2nd half in terms of keeping the ball , working down the clock and keeping chances to a minimal . Our record at killie has been really poor so great win for us .

If there was ever a team I'd love to see us giving a damn good thrashing it would be a Kettlewell team. Be great to see a win for football over the we must win the right before we can go up the park and have a shot. Like others have mentioned +10 points from this run of games would be great.

My thoughts are we get ourselves tangled up, trying to thread delicate passes through an 18 yard box v's if we had 2 strikers and got a few more crosses in we could be more effective that way Seems that by half time - the opposition find ways to deal with our formation, in turn we need to find ways to then mix it up. Not suggesting this for all games but would be interesting to see and possibly change intra game. Dropping TW is most likely way to enable it.. .

Id like to see both AP and Hendry up front together - be interesting to see how it changes our approach current issue is unless we’re on the counter we’re quite easy to defend against , AP was up against 3 central defenders yesterday . As poor as he was that’s a tough gig . I do think we need to mix it up a bit

We need more physical players like Hendry - he’d be my first choice striker

Can't help shake the feeling that we need to win tomorrow to prevent a free fall. We've gone through a few cycles of having a decent start until around this time when it goes Pete Tong. The entertainment value is certainly there and for that to sustain its vital that we recover from a very poor cup performance, stay tight defensively and get 3 points.

I'm thinking along similar lines. Robinson and his squad for me are more streetwise, been kicking around long enough and more accustomed to these types of big events. I'm a huge fan of our gaffer , squad and everything we're trying to do but I do feel the occasion overwhelmed the team . Fair play to StMirren they executed their plan ruthlessly. Overall it became a non event all too quickly and I just hope we can bounce back and put some results together. It could easily become a tipping point , it's essential that we come through the next few games with wins.

completely agree - if they get booked early on it will send a clear message. I'm really hoping with the size of pitch and quality we have we simply blow them away and keep the ball. They're very direct and very dangerous, suspect we'll need to score 3 to win this one.

A couple of very good wins and a clean sheet which feels important . Time to go to Hampden and get ourselves to a final
