  1. Scott Fox is a very able deputy at our level
  2. One of the worst articles I've ever clapped eyes on
  3. One of my favourite players at the Club, but I've always thought he would be pigeon holed as 'limited' due to his style of play... ...however, I've heard one or two things about clubs down south looking at him.
  4. Possibly one of our other midfielders...
  5. Absolutely...with everything going on, and all the uncertainty the Club would be best served to sit tight on any money they have...I'm amazed at people who are shocked that Hartley and Co have not been offered new deals, with things the way they are.
  6. Thanks to everyone who donated...these units have been collected from Bridlington Town FC and will be delivered to Bellshill tomorrow
  7. Aye, whatever...his talking about it in his gutted wee voice is doing my nut in
  8. I'm getting fed up with it as well...the stick Pearson got back in the day for wearing a Celtic strip the day before he signed was pretty venomous, yet DT does the same thing, without the actual signing bit, and is still talking about it months later and gets absolutely no flack over it?
  9. Any training the club ask them to do while furloughed will bear little, to no, resemblance to what they do on a daily basis at Dalziel Park... .... That said, I'd be amazed if any professional fitba player wasn't keeping himself fit right now
  10. Unfortunately it is still needed and more mate... The clubhouse they are receiving from Bridlington is costing a few quid to transport up and it doesn't have changing rooms... So the changing rooms that were torched still need to be refurbished. This facility from Bridlington though is going to have a social club and hospitality suite, as well as laundry room and boardroom... so in the long run the club should generate money from it

  12. Good to have a bit of clarity on where the club stands
  13. Do NI really have to rush into anything? Paying a manager for doing essentially fuck all in the current climate... As BB says, with Bara on the books already, it might be a pretty straightforward move
  14. They may be furloughing already for all wr know... But hey ho, we're only fans. You do what you like with your money, I'll keep my £350 until I know what I'm buying
  15. Aye that's it for me... Clubs far bigger than us are furloughing staff to make ends meet or plug gaps, while we don't appear to be, which seems strange
  16. I that's it in a nutshell... I get that we all have an emotional pull for the club, and want to assist when/if we can (I literally nearly pressed the purchase button myself), but that's what the footballing industry has relied on for far too long... In my own personal opinion, it's actually taking the piss.
  17. Asking and telling are two very different words... ... Bellshill Athletic are skint, pratted, in a very bad way, and have had their clubhouse burnt down, most folk stuck a fiver, tenner or a score in to the pot to give them a wee hand... ... Motherwell have government assistance available that they appear to be shunning.
  18. Oh... And I don't remember telling anyone what to do with their money
  19. It's a messageboard, where people give opinions... So the shut up part isn't an option... ... My stance is that the club should be furloughing staff, not pestering fans for money for a product that right now, doesn't exist
  20. I have no idea why they haven't furloughed their non-playing staff, but at the same time put season tickets on sale.... I'm maybe looking at it too simplistically, but when multi-million pound corporations are furloughing thousands of people, you'd think a wee club like ours would benefit from it also.
