  1. Going to be difficult to squeeze this game in, 25th feb looks most likely, depending on the cup games it could be the weekend of the next round 7th March if we’re both out or possibly around the 3rd/4th March before that round if we’re still involved or 10th/11th March before the Celtic game. Don’t really want to go further than this and definitely not into April between the last two games before the split.
  2. If he’s happy to come to us for £10k a month, welcome aboard Stephen
  3. Not so sure, that would be a £150k investment. I’d rather spend that on paying towards a player we bought in wages and hopefully get it back when we sell them.
  4. We can all relax - the bbc says we’re not selling him https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cpv7e3pnjw2o
  5. Voted for McGinn as well but pole only shows 1 vote, did you vote?
  6. Hopefully the reply is sorry but you’ve put the point in the wrong place.
  7. Out of curiosity, how often is the pitch played on? Is it only first team games or are other games played on it?
  8. We had SOD and McGinn playing CB against Celtic the other week and that didn’t turn out to bad.
  9. Really happy with that today, looked a bit ropy for the first 20 - 25 minutes and rode our luck with the offside goal and the one off the bar but afterwards there was only going to be one winner. Ward made a great save to keep the clean sheet at home record going.
  10. I never go to a game expecting a win - that’s the arse cheek’s mentality - but this season I do go with a high degree of excitement and belief that we can win for which I’m truly grateful to the players and manager for. The players ain’t world beaters but they’re committed to the manager and his plan, work extremely hard every game and deserve everything they get but I’m sure that we will have a bad day now and again which will result in a defeat. When that does happen I hope we can still get behind the team and not start being rockets. Hopefully that’s not today and our run continues and an away goal at first park continues to be as rare as one of our strikes scoring a hat trick
  11. I’ve a feeling that there’s some sort of agreement or understanding between the club, the manager and the players to see out the season. I feel that there’s players are totally onboard with JBA and are willing to wait and see how we finish the season and some may also agree to stay on if he’s stays and that the club will back their decisions. For the club it’s a win win situation as everyone’s stock will only increase (injuries avoided) and Europe could be a money spinning miracle should the core of the team remain and additions are made.
  12. Thought it was interesting when he said “in talks with his representatives “
  13. Don’t panic folks - I hear the owners have banned him from going anywhere near the microphone when the band’s setting up.
  14. I’m just getting the hang of then so it must be time to sell them
  15. I’m happy to leave that decision with JBA.
  16. New Century Bar does not bad mobbed most match days but also gets a turn with live music. I’d say that’s one.
  17. No great stand outs in any area so I’ve went for the keeper for his couple of saves and looking comfortable with the system we play.
  18. Not knocking him but I believe that this is partly due to him going down very easily and winning free kicks rather than him actually being fouled. Not that it’s a bad thing at times but he does seem to do it rather a lot.
  19. Offered nothing? More like given nothing
  20. Robinson ruling himself out of the Aberdeen job, 2-0 down against a 10 man Hearts team. StMirren heading for relegation troubles.
  21. Ah that explains things, still think it’s best to let him develop without pressure away from FP until the management team decides he’s ready.
  22. Not knocking the lad but that’s only his 4th of the season in league 1, three of which have been in the last month. Great to see him starting to get goals and long may it continue, he’s still only 19 so plenty of time to see him in a Motherwell shirt.
  23. With his injury record so far I wouldn’t like to rely on him as a main stay, back up might be fine.
  24. Not good news, hopefully we have a contingency plan. edit: normally I wouldn’t bother about a loan player leaving but I do like Welsh and think both him and Motherwell were a good fit. Feel sorry for him going back to being a bit part player.
  25. I’d suspect that he’s training with us during at least part of the week as Stenhousemuir are not a full time team so JBA will know if he’s ready or not.
