I’m of the view that we don’t need any negative atmosphere before the game starts. A few of our team worked with him and possibly still like the guy so any shit shouted at him could potentially inadvertently knock their thoughts/concentration at the start of the game.

I like Ewan and believe he’s still a good player so hopefully this will benefit his development.

I’d take him back as a permanent move to see if we can improve him and sell him on in 2 years but a loan deal would be pointless unless Rangers are willing to give us some cash for our work.

Not trying to put a downer on things as I’ve also enjoyed the games so far and hope that it continues but my expectations for this season, at the moment, is no greater then any other season, avoiding relegation first followed by a good cup run then trying for top six. As the season progresses that might change but for now I’m enjoying the games and will dream of giddy heights but reality and previous experience will keep those dreams as dreams until something’s in the bag.

Heard in the pub tonight that Scott Leitch was appointed head of their academy about a month ago, started staff to get it going only for the owner to change his mind and shut it down this week, not sure how much of that is true but the Accies fan was totally pissed off with the club and said he won’t be back.

I’m struggling to find my all time greatest team from the players I’ve seen play but I find it incredible that so few who must have seen him have McAllister in their team. I’ve always compared Miller to him, at times, both could collect the ball and stroll through the midfield looking for a pass without bothering to look at the ball as they had total control of it.

Re SOD two of my mates don’t rate him but don’t give him abuse and every time he comes on i joke with them that they will be leaving as “he always gives away a goal “ - they’ve been awfully quiet the last few games regarding him in the pub afterwards as I talk up his passes, blocks etc. Love winding them up.

That’s a bit tough on Wilson, yes he’s not been at his best but I think he’ll be back.

I think he got a bad hamstring injury last December which required surgery, possibly not fully recovered yet. Feel really sorry for him with injuries.

I think the restrictions are on all OF games so I’d think it’s going to be due to increased pressure on the police at these games.
