On VAR and the penalties, I feel that if DUtds was a penalty then so was the one for us and the inconsistency is what pisses me off. On the Rancid one, it’s similar circumstances to the one Andy Robertson gave away in the Liverpool game against Southampton a few weeks ago as the challenge is on the line of the box which is deemed part of the box - I’m never normally one to get involved in the arse cheeks bickering but VAR screwed up big time there. Ceptic fans can shout about sour grapes all they want but if it had happened up the other end they would have reacted exactly the same.

Agree but since VAR awarded theirs why didn’t they award ours? I can just about accept VAR making a mistake in one game and getting it correct in another but in the same game their interpretation should be consistent.

I’ve suggested before that a new main stand could be the same length as it is now with a purpose built disabled stand with a media centre above it could be built next to it which wouldn’t be tall enough to stop the natural light from getting too the houses behind. Personally I’d like to see some of the money (£4-5M?) spent on a new purpose built training facility with both grass and artificial parks which could be used by the first team, youth teams and also be rented out in the evenings to local teams which would help with the running of the facility.

I like Maswanhise but I don’t think he’s a winger or suited to that role. when Wilson came into the team I thought he was decent at getting forward down the wing and managing to get some crosses into the box but he hasn’t been doing that much lately which I put down to SK stopping him and the right wingback from going forward. Playing quick balls down the wings with two forwards (with at least one staying central) and the two wingbacks supporting them with at least one midfielder also attacking behind the strikers is how I think we should be playing.

I’m going to break this down into three parts dead weights, who exactly are you talking about and who can we move them onto? 2-3 players with some quality, do you - or anybody - think the club hasn’t been trying to improve the squad? Sadly over the last couple of seasons any players with some quantity who we could have potentially signed - or retained - all signed to other clubs who can offer better terms like Hearts/Dundee/Dundee Utd/StMirren/Hibs/Kilmarnock. Unjust/surprising/gifted contract extensions? Are you saying that the club and management are handing out money to existing players rather than getting in better players because of favouritism or just too lazy to try and find better players?

SFA rule 5417 states all Motherwell set pieces to be taken by L.Miller, if any other player takes one then the referee shall award a free kick to the opposing team.

Friday night games are ok if we’re playing at home.

I’m going to say there’s a good chance this will be the shite Friday night game. The Dundee Derby will probably be Saturday 5pm and with Aberdeen, Celtic and Rangers all play in midweek before and the arse cheeks play the following midweek they will be the other weekend games with Aberdeen -darlings of the BBC - playing on the Monday night. Hopefully not as I’m staying in Manchester on the Thursday night for the Man Utd game so could be a ball ache of a journey up to Perth for the Friday night.

Agree with others who say the tactics are killing us. Unbelievable that he plays 2 wingbacks then doesn’t let them go up the wings leaving the two forwards having to go out wide.

I’ve never met the guy and I understand folks view from interviews he’s done but about 15 years ago my brother had a hospitality table at Parkhead and took a few of our mates and my dad. TB came over to the table and sat with them for more than 15 minutes talking about his time at Motherwell and talking to my dad about ex players who were about the club doing hospitality when he was there which made my dads day. My brother says he was a good guy who showed real affection for Motherwell and what we did for his career. He also says they were all having a good laugh until a Celtic employee came over and told TB that there were plenty of tables of Celtic supporters wanting to talk with him and as he got up he said awe well back to work then, it was a pleasure talking to you guys. So for that I give him a lot of leeway.

stv, we played both these guys together in the semi final, unfortunately the tactics were wrong and we kept sending long high balls up to them instead of down the channels for them to chase. Can play three forwards if you want but if we don’t play to their strengths we’re fecked every time. Will SK and the rest of the team have learnt? I doubt it.

First half we had plenty of possession but constantly played it backwards so not putting pressure on RC, second half they’ve shown how to attack and deserve their lead. Also nothing going right for the players today, nothing is working for them.

TBH I can live with that.

Sorry but I’d argue that if it’s postponed ticket refunds would be available to anyone who wanted it. I understand that some people may have bought tickets before we knew about the weather and that’s where I’d like to see both clubs come to some agreement regarding refunds if the tickets are not used.

What’s the point of undersoil heating if you’re going to cancel games because 300 - 500 fans can’t - or shouldn’t - travel up? If the parks playable then it should go ahead. The cost to RC and Motherwell to rearrange to midweek and the reduction in fans would be stupid - I’d be raging if we had to cancel because a couple of hundred RC fans couldn’t make it down here. That said I hope everyone is safe.

A few thoughts, LM wanted to play u19’s and will have learned more from those 90 minutes than he would training with the seniors and then sitting on the bench. He - probably rightly -wouldn’t have got on in front of McGinn who’s on the bench. MJ should be starting. Clarke is a numpty.
