Refusing to let him get his move could potentially stop future youngsters from signing extensions or guys coming to us knowing they will get a move - ie Moult - which in the long run could cost the club.

Scott aside, any of the young players that have left the club for a fee have done so by their own choice and not by Motherwell’s choice to actively sell them. motherwell have only made the best of the situations they have found themselves in as I believe they offered the lads new contract extension’s which were refused.
