Though I can see and agree with your point, the offside part of VAR is the only part that the guys in the VAR control room can’t easily fuck up - although they have managed it at times - any attempt to change it would be a disaster.

It would be crazy to train the youths to play a different style from the seniors as it would make integrating them into the seniors difficult.

I think the increase is not only due to our form and style of football but also the fact that instead of 200 county fans we got 1000 Falkirk fans. No matter what an extra 1000 on the home games is great and that probably works out at an extra £10k a week in revenue.

Considering that it normally takes a player 6 months at least to settle at a new club I don’t see too much of a problem. Yes he could have had more game time but he’s a young man so maybe the adjustment will take longer.

At our game on Saturday he was standing warming up when they scored their first goal and he stood and remonstrated with the linesman saying what looked like the ball was moving at the free kick, thought he was going to be booked because he wouldn’t let it go despite the linesman gesturing to him to move away. Agree that he’s top class but he needs to be more aware of his options, at one point he beat 3 of their players, Stam started a run only for Said to double back to try and beat the united players again, a through ball was the better option. It’s the one thing I find infuriating about him.

I heard from a guy well connected at Hearts that at the start of the season he was offered to us - unsure if it was a loan or permanent move for cash - but we knocked it back. I’m 100% sure this is true and 90% sure it was a permanent move. Maybe someone else has heard similar.

I’ve always said that VAR should be ran by foreign officials who have no axes to grind or possible favouritism and are competent rather then the idiots we have.

Not really the society’s roll but agree that the club should be saying something, although the instructions are quite clear on the website they do seem to be wrong about no Hampden app no ticket as my mates bought all our tickets on his without needing us all to sign up.
