Listen, he will say this only once…or twice….or maybe even a third time - copy, paste, repeat

Weekly SK has held interviews with the club media and the press where he’s talked about many things but this week he’s been very quiet. I do think it would be helpful to hear from him but that doesn’t seem likely at the moment. Possibly he’s just getting his head around what’s happened, needs time to process things, has a bout of depression or is just sitting back watching it all with a smile on his face. We don’t know and hopefully it’s not depression that he’s suffering from.

Sadly, if you look at most teams in the SPLF, a few of their first team regulars - and possibly better players - are loan players due to the fact they’re cheaper options because their parent club pays a fair chunk of their wages. We’re not alone in using loan players but appear to get those that either don’t suit our style, aren’t ready for 1st team football, don’t have an interest in being here or just aren’t good enough.

Heard it’s apparently happening, if only we had the cash for him or another similar.
-
Tbh a 4-2 defeat to them on Sunday would probably flatter us.

If family members hearing some abuse that their partner/parent gets when their decisions/indecision cause distress to people who give a fuck about what’s happening is what it takes for a manager to resign, I hope some of my managers bring their family to work and let them mingle with some of the folk I work with.
-
No, had a shit day and your stupid statement topped it off so I want to know was it a serious statement or just badly worded - but thanks for asking.
-
You’re the one saying staff shouldn’t take aim at fans no matter what they say. I personally believe that’s out of order so wanted to know if you meant it.
-
Theoretically speaking what if one of our players mate plays for an opposing team and their kid has cancer, a small minority of our fans are being abusive to him regarding this and after the game our player says publicly that it’s out of order and disgusting - is that still a no from you?

The clubs website shows 6 directors the chairman, the chief executive, finance director - both club employees - and 3 others, 2 of whom I presume are WS appointed.
-
Not a lot, that’s the job of the Motherwell board which obviously has 2 WS members on it. I’m a member of the society but firmly believe that the two boards have two jobs and apart from working together on certain things they shouldn’t interfere with the others role. edit: I’ve no doubt there are some who think that the WS should have a vote to rubber stamp any appointment

Understandable
-
Find that strange as I’m sure 99% of the fans wouldn’t have known who his family was. Although I have no way of knowing if that’s true or not. As you’ve heard about this, can you confirm if was aimed at his family or did they hear the abuse aimed at him?
-
Sitting very close to his family at FP I’ve never heard anything aimed at them.

100%, all most of us want him to do is manage the team he has available to him, change his style to suit what’s available and effect in game management of situations that arise during the game. Take each game one at a time during this injury crisis and stop sticking to the same game plan he’d use if he had a full fit team because it ain’t working. If he sticks religiously to what he’s doing and we stay up by the skin of our teeth - which is no way a given at this moment - I’d be tempted to say goodbye and thanks for your efforts but it’s time for a change.

Piss poor passing and inability to hold a ball is killing us - add TW piss poor finishing
-
Agree that it was a bad challenge, guy doesn’t attempt to go for the ball and just backs into Gordon knowing he’s jumping so flipping him head first into the ground which has the potential to seriously hurt him.
-
Predicting a win, loss or draw is becoming nearly impossible.
-
Normally missing a game because I’m night shift pisses me off but driving in at 7:30 last night I was not bothered and having watched the sportscene highlights and read the comments here, I’m glad I missed the game. That said getting a point appears to be a great result.
-
Personally I think we will be lucky to hit 50 points - especially if we stay in the top six come the split - but would love to have someone ram this prediction down my throat come the end of the season.

I don’t think that I’m one of those belittling SK but have questioned some of his decisions as have many of us and I also wasn’t one of those pushing for Valakari but I think it’s a bit early to be writing him off or comparing the two of them. SK has had a couple of windows to make the team his own with varying degrees of success but SV has only had what was there so far. Like giving a player 6 month to settle a manager needs to be given a year to implement his ideas and bring in the players who suit his system unless it’s blatantly obvious that the guy’s a crackerjack and his system is unworkable in our league.
-
Thought it was a bit of a rash tackle and was a yellow as he accidentally, in my view, rakes his studs down the guys calf.
-
Were looking at a defensive midfielder from another SPFL club but I can’t say too much about it
-
That would be fine if that was the case but it’s not as most of the time we play down the right and Ox mostly holds the ball too long and then sends it either down the right or middle - frustrating as hell to me so much that on Sunday I actually shouted for fuck sake send it out left at one point.

Not got a lot of confidence in us getting a result here, kind of agree with those saying the surface favours Killie although I’m sure we will have been training on astro more lately due to the weather so players might be less affected by it. My main thought is that similar to the last game at FP, McInnes will set them up defensively and we will just lump long high ball’s at them as our passing is poor to say the least. Also I’d like to see our distribution being quicker, in a forward direction and for players to look to the left rather than constantly turning to the right hand side all the time. The amount of times Wilson was standing in acres of space yesterday only to be constantly ignored was ridiculous.
