I'd have Longelo in for his height at set-peices, Stama/Hendry is a toss up not overly bothered who starts. I'd be taking Preistman out for an attacker they'll give us the ball and sit in their shape not convinced preistman is going to be very good against a low block.

I think stylistically they're our hardest opponent they sit deep and break well with big powerful boys all over the park. You seen in the semi final Robinson had worked out how to disrupt our build up and they're a massive threat of set peices. The only 1 that may have better offers will be JK. I'd expect Mcginn and SOD to both get extensions given the amount they've played Welsh will most likely be gone. Gordon I'd expect to leave based on game time and Balmer will be off either in January or the Summer.

Our model is to sell and re invest in other areas of the club. January after AFCON will be Maswanhise's peak value while he's a Motherwell player. I think it's fairly likely we cash in on him and try and replace him. Welsh is out with our control he's a Celtic player and they can do as they please with him.

That's the most controlled Motherwell performance I've ever seen to a man they were all excellent and other than the 1 Koutrombis cleared off the line they barley created a chance. Preistman and Welsh were the standouts for me. Welsh probably the best CB we've had since Kipre and Preistman looked like he'd been starting in there all season. The teams gave Jens some selection headaches ahead of Hearts on Saturday that's for sure.

The issue with the way we play is we rely a lot on the Fbs decision making which for the last 2 games has been poor. Longelo wants to beat 3/4 players every time he has the ball and Koutrombis can't play through a press because of his body shape when he receives the ball. I don't particularly like SOD but his passing is far better than JK. Watt and Fadinger are both good at recycling the ball but there not playing penatrive passes through the lines often enough for me Slattery was in good pockets multiple times and they turned and played backwards. Ward the less said the better I wanted him dropped after the 1st game of the season and continues to be like a holigram in goal.

Bevis Mugabi in our current system would be absolutley chronic. He was decent for us don't get me wrong but he's got to be one of the worst Cbs i've ever seen when in possesion of the ball, like way worse than Gordon who we've all slaughtered for his performance on saturday.

The whole team was awful yesterday Ward - Should of saved the 3rd goal Koutrombis - Absolutley horrendous, the fact a proffesional footballer can't open their body up properly when receving the ball was particulary infuriating. Gordon - Awful Mcginn - Poor but made a couple of important tackles and blocks. Longelo - Worst game in a motherwell shirt Watt - Fadinger - Both poor compared to how they've played this season and were physically bullied of O'Hara and Phillips Mawanhise - Poor, wasted 2 big chances Just - Probably our brightest spark and at least tried to make things happen Said - Couple of nice dribbles but no end product Stam - Was decent tbf held the ball in well against Gogic and got us up the pitch Subs Welsh, Sparrow, Hendry all made postive impacts when they came on Welsh and Sparrow and Slattery all should of started. RCC - Was pretty anonymous when he came on.
