You'd think with him being at Celtic as long as he has been he'll be better on the ball than Gordon.
-
Sun saying we're close to signing Welsh on loan from Celtic.
-
If we want a Gk Darren Randolph is a Free Agent get him back in between the sticks.
-
Watt to me is the most important player in the system we are playing. The minute he went off our patterns on that left side fell apart.
-
Also on another note that's 2 weeks in a row JBA has made subs that swung the momentum of the game. For me subs should of been Johnny K for SOD, Said for Cook and Stam for Hendry why he took Watt and Maswanhise off is an absolute mystery.
-
We need 2 maybe 3 more signings - CB, (LB on loan) as cover and an attacking midfielder if Slattery is injured.
-
As i said after the Rangers game get Oxborough back in goals that's 6 points Ward's cost us this season. On a more positive note Watt, Fadinger, Longelo, and Just all look to have been good signings so far.
-
purley on the goals we have conceded he saves the header in the Rangers game and the last 2 yesterday. Last season the only mistake I remember him making that lead to a goal was the cross he misjudged against Hibs.
-
We looked good yesterday can't help but feel if Ox was in goals last 3 games were on 7 points.
-
I just don't see it mate Cbs we have Gordon, Mcginn, Balmer, Mcghee with SOD who can also play there Rbs - JK, Sparrow, SOD Lbs - Longelo, Wilson unless you move on 1/2 there's no way we sign anymore.
-
If we add Charles-Cook and a holding midfielder I think we've had a decent window. Could probably do with shifting Balmer and replacing him if JBA doesn't fancy him. if we sign Cook I'd be getting Luca Ross out on loan to get game time as well. Probably finish somewhere from 6th-9th.
-
Hendry looks to be a decent addition we need a holding midfielder and a winger/No10 and our squad is ready for the season. Ward/Oxborough JK/Sparrow Gordon/SOD Mcginn/Mcghee/Balmer Longelo/Wilson Watt Fadinger/Halliday Just/Ross Slattery/Nicholson Maswanhise/Said Hendry/Stam/Osong/ + Sule/Robinson/Stuperavic (All injured for a period of time) If JBA doesn't fancy Balmer shift him and get a Cb in.
-
That's a decent base fee and you'd expect add ons take it to 5M if there's a sell on as well we've done well. I wouldn't expect much to be re-invested in the squad. I'd say we need another 4/5 players to finish the squad 2x Cb 1x Cm 2x Attackers - 1 out an out striker, 1 that can play all across the forward line. Squads light with all our injuries and JBA clearly doesn't fancy Balmer so could do with shifting him.
-
The only change I'd make v St Mirren is Oxborough in for Ward
-
Seen the other day that Tyler Maglorie was a free agent with this high line we're trying to implement he could be a good addition
-
ST, 2 Cbs and a replacement for Miller when he leaves. That 2nd half performance is the best I've seen from us in years,
-
Team I'd pick tonight would be Ward Koutrombis Gordon Balmer Longelo Watt Slattery Sparrow Just Sule Maswanhise Hopefully win by a couple goals and Sule and Just get off the mark If Mcginn is fit him at Cb over Balmer.
-
The squads going to be bloated either way due to the nature of Robinson and Stuperavic's injuries we'll be running at minimum a 25 man squad. We're about to sign a winger called Ibrahim Said from Viborg.
-
forgot about I'll add him in
-
That's fair enough here's the squad we'd be going into the season with in that case Gk- Ox, Ward RB - SOD, Johnny K Cb - Gordon, Balmer, Mcghee, Mcginn LB - Longelo, Wilson CM - Miller, Watt, Halliday, Slattery, Sparrow, Fadinger RW - Just, Nicholson, Ross LW- Maswanhise ST- Stam, Sule, (Robinson, Stuperavic both crocked to December at the earliest) Plus any youth lads that could potentially break through
-
Just I believe is a RW either way we need another winger, you need 4 if you're playing a 433 we currently have Maswanhise, Just and Nicholson (Who's injury prone) and if you want to add Ross you can but not convinced he's ready i'd loan him out, we need a Cb who's semi decent on the ball, we need a Cm regardless of Miller leaving and an probably a 2nd when he does and St. I mean I'm not the biggest fan of SOD or Johnny K tbh but we already have they 2 plus Mcginn to play there so doubt we'll add a RB.
-
we still need 3/4 imo - LW, CB, CM and a Target-man type ST
-
yh i'll add him into Cm forgot about him when making it
-
Looking at the way he set up tonight our options at the moment are GK- Oxborough/Ward RB - SOD/Koutrombis/Mcginn CB - Gordon, Balmer, Mcghee, Mcginn LB - Wilson CM - Miller, Halliday, Slattery, Watt, Fadinger, Sparrow RW - Nicholson, Ross LW - Maswanhise ST- Stam, Robinson , Stuparevic we need 6/7 in to strengthen the squad. With a few outgoings. - Starting LB and RW need to be recruited asap. - We'll also need another 2 Cms when Miller is sold. - We need a LW, CB and a Target-man ST to put us in a good position going into the season.
-
That game should highlight to the new manager what he needs to add to his squad. We need to add more pace in the wide areas as well as a ST before the cup games but sure this is probably something the new gaffer is already looking at. Though Watt in the middle looked decent handled the ball well and Miller absolutley strolled it. Was 1-0 when majority of the senior players were on against a decent side.
