I think last night proved that reducing the prices increses attendance and also atmosphere, but more importantly could bring in more fans who would have loved last night and want to come back to more games. I have to say last night was the best game I have been at since the Odense game. Both these games were played in front of a full Fir Park. In the long run reducing prices will increse profits at Fir Park, but it needs to be a long term plan. Not just a one off.

Suttons knock down for the second goal was world class!
-
amazing tonight. Franny Jeffers is a fantastic player. One step ahead.

I would turn Fir Park into a Gladiator arena and if Humphrey doesn't get that cross into the mixer then unfortunatley its a thumbs down and I would release the Lions. I would also have a golden throne and it would be heated for the winter.

The main issue with loan deals is we make no money as a club we just pish it all away on the hope of top six finish and a decent cup run. As a club if we are to be a success we need to either bring through youth players and tie them up to long term deals (ie Murphy) or sign quality players on a free and sell on for big bucks (ie Randolph). We have not done this since we sold Jim Paterson and now we are beginning to feel the effects of it. We will probably get a decent price for Randy (£750,000) as good goalkeepers are hard to find. Kilmarnock are a great example. They have been brilliant this season considering they almost got relegated last season, but thats down to Mixu being very clever in the transfer market, but where does that leave them next season? These guys will be gone and they will probably finish 5th which means fuck all in the grand scheme of things. So its back to square one for the team and no plan for growth.

Am I the only one who think Jennings is too slow for the Championship. Does a very good job for us and I think the SPL is his level. He also needs to sort out his discipline. Anyway its all imaterial as after the whole betting shite he will want to be away from Scottish football. He was treated like dirt by the SPL over this whole fiasco. c***s!

I am pretty confident we will make it. ICT have a pretty hard run in and apart from the result against us have been pretty poor of late. We on the other hand seem to play well against the 'bigger' teams so I am hopeful we can get points against Hearts and Aberdeen. We could potentially lose them all and still make the top six! the most important game of the season is on the 30th. Win that and we have an amazing chance to make the Scottish Cup Final. All focus should be on that game not the top six.

Can Radolph and Craigan just not refuse to play for their country and say they have important club business on that day? Also is it proper internationals or friendlys?
-
Aye we are going to get Aberdeen. The lottery numbers will be 2, 45, 23, 12, 7 and 32 Oh and I predict the end of the world will happen in the year 2300.

I think two wins from our games before the split should see us in the top six. Inverness seem to have lost their way. Dundee Utd will make it as will Killie. So it will be: Celtic Rangers Hearts Dundee Utd Kilmarnock Motherwell I feel Aberdeen and Hibs are just out of touching distance as are St Johnstone. A top six after the season we have had will be an excellent achievement. Kilmarnock...... P27, 39pts Motherwell....... P28, 38pts Dundee Utd..... P25, 34pts ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Inverness CT... P28, 33pts Aberdeen.......... P28, 31pts Hibernian.......... P28, 31pts St Johnstone.... P27, 31pts Here are the fixtures: KILMARNOCK Hearts (A), Motherwell (H), St Johnstone (A), Inverness (H), Rangers (A) + Celtic (H) MOTHERWELL Inverness (A), Kilmarnock (A), Aberdeen (H), Dundee Utd (H), Hearts (A) DUNDEE UTD Aberdeen (H), Hamilton (H), Hearts (H), Inverness (H), Rangers (A), Motherwell (A), St Johnstone (H) + Rangers (H) INVERNESS Motherwell (H), Dundee Utd (A), Celtic (H), Kilmarnock (A), Hearts (H) ABERDEEN Dundee Utd (A), Motherwell (A), St Mirren (A), Hibs (H) + Rangers (H) HIBERNIAN St Johnstone (A), Celtic (A), Hearts (H), Aberdeen (A), Hamilton (H) ST JOHNSTONE Hibs (H), Hamilton (A), Kilmarnock (H), Dundee Utd (A), Celtic (H) + Rangers (H) Its gonna be tight!

Whats the dimensions of the banner and I will look at doing something if you are desperate.

If Rangers or Celtic moved to the EPL then they could potentially become the biggest clubs in the World. Thats a fact. As for us and others around us we could probably compete in the Championship if we could build up the fan base. As for Reynolds. He is a good player. Stick him in the CB role and he will do you a turn. Never played well as a left back for us.
-
Same team that beat Celtic. No brainer.
-
100% a penalty. He clipped him.
-
Quality game yesterday. If Humphrey could shoot it would have been about 4-0. We thrashed them. Tell you what Shuan Hutichinson is a hell of a player. The boy will be playing for one of the big guns in the EPL in a few years. Talent well beyond his age. Special mention to Ross 'Chopper' Forbes. He can cut them down and then cut open their defence with that left peg. Brilliant. Big Sutton was also immense and can fair hit a nalty. Superb!

This is fucking outstanding! You got any Werthers Originals in yer pocket?
-
When did it suddenly become our divine right to beat St Mirren? They hold a better record over us in the past three years. On Wednesday night they got lucky we didn't. Simple. Most SPL games are now very tight with the odd goal seperating the teams. Why? Because we are all fighting over the same bunch of players in the transfer market. All it takes is guys like Eremenko, Kyle or Goodwillie to move you from a bottom six to a top six position. We lost lots of players and only managed to get a few in. They need time to settle in and hopefully it will come good. There are signs that we are going in the right direction. It just takes time. Thats fitbaw - you just deal with it. But as for turfing out the manager. Away ye go!
-
You do this everytime and usually it ends up a draw or a narrow defeat! Anyway I think we will get beat 3-1 or thereabouts. We have too small a squad and injurys to handle Celtic right now, but you never know!!
-
The defence was - they hadn't let in any goals. Read the post before you be a smart ass.
-
When Lasley got injured we should have just moved Hammell into midfield and left our defence alone as it was ticking along nicely. As soon as we messed about with the defence it all went tits up.
-
Will be a very tight game. Get an early goal then keep it tight and for the last 20 minutes bring on Humphrey to run riot when they are chasing the game.
-
Aye can't really grumble about the signings at all. Jones has played his part and also got a goal when asked to play up front. Also at 34 still has pace and a few tricks. Good backup. Jeffers looks like a very good forward player who still has that wee burst of pace. Also makes space for him and other forward players. Good buy. Gunning was very good against Accies and he allows us to move Hammell into a left midfiled slot which is good. It may not be as many as McCall wanted to bring in, but it might just be enough to secure a top six spot. Also you could say that he has a new signing in Shuan Hutchison who has been excellent.

I am actually dreading the prospect of watching Billy Reid and his ultra negative tactics stifle yet another game. Guys like him should be shot for crimes against football. Two very important games coming up. If we get 6 points then the challenge for 4th is back on. if not then we will be scrapping it out to maintain our place in the top six.
-
To be honest though our pitch was a total disgrace and it was not all down to the weather.
-
Agree. I like it better on here when we win as people actually talk about football, tactics etc and not just spout pish that usually contains the words 'Sacked!' 'No fight!' 'Shite fitbaw' etc etc. Actually a Killie fan came on here and shut them all up by telling them our record over the last four years. Its excellent. Getting beaten 6-0 is a sore one, but I have seen enough from the team under McCall to see that there is something there. My main concern is not the Manager, but if we can keep Jennings on a longer contract. I also think all we need is a bit more squad depth and we will be up there challenging for third next season. But January is not the best time to do that. We can judge McCall in the transfer market during the Summer. Also you have to say that so far the players he has brought in have been pretty good. Canny grumble too much.
