I am the exact same. I don't think I have watched an SPL game on the TV in about 3 years. I really only watch Match of the Day as it shows you the good bits. I much prefer being at the game or playing the game!! This 10 team fiasco has come about as SPL clubs don't want to be even further in the red, but to me its just a very short sighted move. Scotland should have two leagues of 16 teams with two up and two down. The rest should be moved into regionlalised divisions. Will never happen though.

Maybe he turned it down. Its not just a case of us picking who we want. They have a choice too.

So from reports we have interviewed Stubbs, Sutton, McCall and Sbragia. Not sure what to make of any of them. McCall would probably be my first choice, but Everton are raving about Stubbs. Who knows. I still think a rabbit will be pulled out the hat and it will be a name we haven't even mentioned on here.

Also I think we just have to accept we have been living with Siberian temperatures for about a month and still trying to play football games in it. Its never going to work. Our game with Rangers is a doubt due to the streets around Fir Park being covered in about an inch of ice that will not be moving at all this week.

Was that not a police decision due to the safety of surrounding roads? If so then its got feck all to do with Dundee Utd.

I still don't understand how they can think Jenno is guilty. The way he got sent of was so innocuous that most other days he might not even have got a yellow. Either the papers are talking shite or they have full proof evidence he is guilty. As for the ref. I think the papers are too scared to even mention 'referee' and 'match fixing' in the same sentence - or they don't mention it as they have evidence on Jenno. Either way the young lad has been treated disgracefully in this whole sorry cluster fuck.

The point is if Jennings called the ref a 'Fucking Cheat' and got sent off and then the ref tells him to 'Get to fuck' then it smacks of hypocrisy. How can the ref use abusive language and the players can't. The whole thing stinks.

Take on board everones comments on this, but the one thing is that why would the bookies make this story public if there wasn't something in it? There is no way they want egg on their faces. So it makes me think there has been more than a few bets on this. This could run and run.

Just watched the highlights. After the ref sends off Jennings he quite clearly mouths 'Get to Fuck' - total fanny.

I would say for the first 5-10 minutes we tried to play the ball on the deck and also get down the channels. Hearts got wise to us and put pressure on the the ball every time we got it. This makes players panic and then launch it high up the pitch. Also add to that our central defence was a total shambles last night which helps no one.

St Johnstone were gung ho and attacked us. Most teams who play us sit back and play the counter attack. Sometimes we cope with it sometimes we don't. Hearts were well organised and made us resort to the long ball.

The guy was flung into the job less than a week ago. There was no way he was going to risk changing the style of play. The players have been used to that formation and style for about a year now. he could have changed it and we could have been beat 5-0. Instead we narrowly lost to an in form Hearts and were unlucky not to get a draw.

Scottish football is very near the edge of a cliff right now. These are the main issues for me: Cost: Its far too expensive. How can the quality of the game go down, but the price go up? Quality: Too many teams in Scotland play awful negative tactics and lump it up to a big man so teams that want to play it on the deck get steam rolled. Its dreadful to watch. This means people won't come back. We have a system in Scotland where size and brute force is rewarded but skill and vision is thrown out into the bin. See Kevin Kyle and Alan Gow as a perfect example of this. What one of them has more chance of a Scotland cap? Referees: They have lost it totally. I say we get rid of them all and just bring in forgien refs. From what I heard all the ones that came over were excellent and let the game flow. Last night was a perfect example of how to ruin a game. Legit tackles punished, incosistent bookings, missing key issues in the game, linesman offering no help, petty attitude and above all a desire to be at the centre everything. In my book a refree should almost be invisble. TV: People can now watch so much football on their armchair or at the pub. They can watch the EPL, La Liga and Italian Football with ease. So if you are used to this and then pop along to a Hamilton v Dundee Utd match and pay 22 quid for the privelage then I doubt you will ever come back. Media: The scottish sports media is bollocks and all they do is focus on the Old Firm to sell papers and brush over everything else. Jennings red card a perfect example. It has got has got a couple of lines in the match report of most papers. If it was lets say Lee McCulloch that got the red card then it would get pages and pages of discussion and be a main issue on every phone in show for weeks. Atmoshpere: No fans equals a shit atmosphere as does poor stadiums, selling overpriced food and drink then add onto that over zealous stewards then you have a recipie for disaster. I give it another 2 or 3 years in this state before it all fall apart.
