Sad news indeed. Like many here grew up with Peter as a hero. The opposition certainly knew they were in a game when he played. RIP and condolences to his family.
Not really, because, just for talking's sake, I'm not aware that we or anyone else in the SPL offered him terms.
One thing you are right about though is that some of the comments on this board - "beggar belief at times"
Didn't stop him being generally seen as shite when he signed for us, and for a prolonged period after. Only to spectacularly prove people wrong. Point is just because someone is shite at another team doesn't mean they will be shite here (Clancy for example)
Smashing video - and one of many highlights of the season for me. As fatcalf says to see the South Stand choir grow as the game went on was brilliant.
TrouserTent - good luck with the choir in the Cooper, been in there for a number of years and been trying along with GAZZAMFC68 to generate any kind of atmosphere. Reminds me of Fergie's comment about the Aberdeen support - 'you knew they were getting excited when they rustled their sweetie papers'. Get it going though and we'll both be happy to join in - cmon the Auld 'well Bois.
God I hope not - still have nightmares about those games yet - going to school in Airdrie and having Derek Whiteford as my PE and Guidance teacher didn't help either.
Certainly wouldn't call it a 'dodgy moment' in terms of performance, just an over picky referee. Don't recal ever seeing that 4 step rule applied either before or after that.
Too much to drink that day obviously - only 2 to blame for that goal - Higdon and Humphrey.
Also conveniently forgetting the 2 first class saves in the first 10 minutes to keep us in the game. Hollis hasn't let us or himseld down in any games he started.
Just back - great day - nearly a magic day (thought there was only going to be one winner, until Henrik got sent-off).
Great atmosphere, but some of our younger (and not so younger) fans really need to lay off the booze .
