maybe its just fans that usually work on match days making that we bit of effort tonight in what was one our clubs biggest games years.

what did humphrey do to merit man of the match. Yes he ran at their defence, but his final ball tonight was awful. He aslo did not track back on many occasions. He seldom looks up and pick out a player to cross it, and basically just hits into the box blindly. Dont get me wrong, i would love him to turn into a good player, but from what ive seen he needs to do alot of work.

Another glorious failure. Tonight we lacked quality, luck and composure. Guess that's why they play for us and not a bigger team. Murphy was outstanding, penalty apart. He had their No. 2 all over the place, and i said at the time, that the No.2 would be subbed or sent off. I saying that all his best work was outwith the box, just like all our other attackers. We badly need a out and out striker. Sadly we got what we deserved, and what is with this route one football. Kick and hope wont win games.

murphy was not out of his depth and caused all sorts of problems for them (Granted hsi shooting was poor tonight). Sutton's workrate is far superior to Forbes, and probably better defensively as well, hence why i would pick him.

next week play sutton left of midfield with licence to get to back post, and play Blackman up front with murphy. Get hump down the right to whip in cross after cross. Hopefully Brown will get the guys practicising crossing and shooting. It's going to be difficult, but it's do-able! It's been years and years since Fir Park really rocked, but i guess next week is as good a time as any to make some noise
