  1. celtic have lost the plot get into them! whats the red card odds now? wheres sutton or blackman get them on
  2. see the difference when we work harder and press them. it;'s celtic tv what do you expect?
  3. they've sussed out how to play against us. It's time for a plan B.
  4. alot of our problems stem from the fact when we do have the ball, there is little available up front. We nead to work harder to find space, and given the pace that Humphrey and murphy have on a big pitch it really should not be that hard. Get both of them infield pronto with Sutton for the flick ons. Lets try something other than a brown system please.
  5. if we are going to hoof the ball up the park get sutton or blackman on to at least try and hold the ball up. Gow is like a man down.
  6. center of midfield is allowing their midfield to run at our defence. just look at the effort to get back and help. pathetic. has gow touched the ball yet?
  7. what i also dont get is that we have not learned anything from the last time we played them. The left back has humphrey in his back pocket. if we play any deeper we will be standing on our own goal line. push up for fecks sake
  8. so can we start a new topic with 60 odds pages trying to guess who the assistant is?
  9. depends on the players views on Leitch i would have thought, if boyle had sense and asked them. But then management team aint ment to be your cuddly best pals, as they are just as likely to stab you in the back.
  10. how well he will do, will probably depend on who he gets as his assistant. Think thats the key.
  11. is that a distant hope or you know something?
  12. if you google mccall, seems he's a hard worker with good ideas, but had trouble identifying his teams strongest 11. His teams slide coincided with the clubs financial problems, and resultant cut backs. Does that show he cannot opperate on a reduced scale? or can he use that experience, learn from it and progress? Time will tell, if even the BBC have the right man. I wonder who's spinning these stories to the media. What motive would McCall have? So perhaps someone within the club. Even then you've got to take it with a pinch of salt as very little has come from club up until now, so why is all of this information suddenly being released?
  13. perhaps the reintroduction of standing and the return of the east stand to it's former glory could delay and help matters. Unless we manage to unearth a gem in the youth ranks and sell him at the Hibs rates we aint going anywhere for a long time.
  14. perhaps it's time the players took on more responsibility to help out Young! It's only a game of football not brain surgery, and our players have been together now for a while and have played the opposition often enough to surely not need telling what to do to counter them. It's time they stopped feeling sorry for themselves, rolled up the sleeves and got on with it, and try an encourage a potential manager to accept the job. As for the Young bashing. He knows his limitations, and never asked to be put in the position he find himself in, so give it a rest. Players win games, and it's time they did just that!
  15. we have to attack as our defence at present is not good enough to try and park the bus. I reckon it's going to end 5 - 3 to the team that makes the fewest mistakes on the night.
  16. This turning out like when the club were trying to find a sponsor. Plenty of chasing, and an end product out of desperation. I wonder who's negotiating on our behalf. I just hope that the players gutless performance has not persuaded those chased to reject the offers. Who ever gets the job is going to have a extremely hard job on and off the pitch.
  17. even fancy new shiny stadiums experience burst pipes and closed toilets in extreme cold weather!

    Hately

I know we should not focus on any one player after a defeat, but having watched his performance today, what is everyone's constructive views. For me he passed the ball reasonably well, but his positional sense, tackling ability, and effort was very questionable today. He knew we were light in the midfield area, he knew half time was approaching, but to me he bottled it and took the easy option and let his colleagues and fans down. If he was unwell he should not have started! It's time those in charge of our club recognised that he offers nothing in midfield. As for Hately, much like Kerr before him, they've got to realise they have the ability, but without effort, guts and drive, they will never become anything other than average at best.
  20. The difference then and now is confidence, team spirit and fight. When things are going against the team you expect them to work harder, not the opposite. The lack of fight was worrying. If Young is to continue in charge he needs to drop the Brown tactics. They aint working anymore. As for relegation, until we've got 36 points we aint safe! Teams at the bottom just got that bit closer.
  21. think we might need to play a back 5 at the moment! page saunders craigan hutchison Hammell with Reynolds and Lasley in front on the centre back three with a front three of blackman murphy sutton. page and hammell can provide the width. the spine of the team needs to be stronger
