The red card was for violent conduct and a stamp, so it couldnt have been for the initial challenge (in which Brown catches Kipré's standing leg).

These factors expose his decision. He obviously guessed at a non existent stamp. He even motions a downwards stamp. Kiprés (very slight) motion was sideways at best and nothing like a forceful downward motion. Thomson has noticed Brown hitting the deck, gone straight for the red imagining what's happened and his decision has subsequently been outed as utter guesswork.

What happened to the whole jersey pull being a penalty directive? Must have lasted about a month.

IMO that's because it was guesswork. As I said in previous post, I don't think he was focussed on the incident, he follows the ball.

I finally gave up going to NDP last year. Just a horrible place to watch football for a variety of reasons. The policing in and around the stadium is farcical as well.

Apparently its because Celtic are East and Rangers West, which is fine against each other, but bollocks for example when Rangers played St Mirren and we played Celtic, us both being futher west and east respectively. They also, if I'm correct, always get the same dressing rooms.
