    Chants

    From this game.........?
  2. Confusing I know! Should've put 1st May as I'm pretty sure the qualfying period ends a month earlier than normal at 30th April (instead of 31st May).
  3. My understanding is the results are usually published on June 1st. However, I think this year it'll be Friday as it's the day after the year end, which used to be May 31st. Sure of that, meaning if it's the case just a couple more days to find out. Kilmarnock got into Europe in 1999 I'm certain through this route, no shame in it at all.
  4. There will be an even smaller home turn out if they lose tomorrow. That's a crazy price if you're wanting to attract a crowd for a crucial game.
  5. Scottish Cup Semis. But I agree, why not tomorrow when it'd get a bigger crowd surely?
  6. According to the Paisley Express, they are doing it for their remaining three games.(me thousandth post incidentally!).. ST MIRREN fans will be able to beat the credit crunch by taking advantage of cut-price admission for the club’s three remaining SPL home games of the season. The Buddies are slashing admission prices for the matches against Inverness Caley Thistle on Saturday, May 2, Motherwell on Saturday, May 9, and Hamilton Accies on Saturday, May 23. And, given that the Saints are still not completely clear of the relegation zone, these three home games could make or break their season. Admission prices for all stands within St Mirren Park for these games will be £10 for adults or £12 for a padded seat in the main stand. Children aged under 18, pensioners aged over 65 and full-time students who have a valid matriculation card can get in for just £5. And the cost for a disabled fan and one helper is also £5. It’s hoped that thousands of St Mirren supporters will take advantage of the cut-price offer for these vital league matches. This would mean that Gus MacPherson’s men will have a large vocal support cheering them on when they negotiate the vital matches against their relegation rivals. The Buddies will no doubt have revenge on their minds when they meet Terry Butcher’s Highlanders at St Mirren Park on May 2. The last time the teams locked horns was earlier this month. Then, two goals from Filipe Morais secured a 2-1 win for Inverness at the Tulloch Stadium. And Motherwell will be certain to want some payback for the 2-0 defeat which the Saints inflicted on them at Fir Park last weekend when they come to town on May 9. St Mirren will also be aiming to maintain their unbeaten SPL record against Billy Reid’s Hamilton Accies. The Lanarkshire side will be the final visitors to Paisley this season two weeks later.
  7. SPL have reversed the decision and a reserve league WILL take place next season now.... SPL On an unrelated issue, according to the SPL website they've now made it even harder for Dundee United and Aberdeen to attract a crowd for the game on Thursday, 7th. May. Kick-off time? 00:00....!
  8. Hope our guys were looking at the Hibs players and thinking "this time next year, the trophy comes here". Guys are good enough, just got to get it now.
  9. Certainly is good to hear. Just waiting for a cynical post though....
  10. Would've been great if it could've been played Saturday, could have went then. Glad to hear it's at Fir Park though.

    Get A Grip

Did you no ask the cheating bassa about punching the ball into the net at Swinecastle 15 years ago, and fact he still to this day claims he headed it in?!?!
  12. Noticed that. Also noticed John Sutton was permanently advising the Ref about their keeper keeping hold of the ball for well over 10 seconds at-a-time and getting away with it.
  13. Two games in succession we've saw a badly placed ball in the six-yard box which has cost us badly. Big Maros did it at Greyskull, and now Reynolds on Saturday there. Whatever happend to if in doubt?

    Accies Away

Sounds like there are going to be a good few season tickets not used for the last two games!! I don't have one this season but would certainly have used it had I got one.
  15. Elliott has apparently been man-of-the-match the last three games he's played. Makes you wonder how badly the rest of his team-mates must be performing if he's managed that!
  16. Unfortunately whilst the games are relatively meaningless for us, they are still crucial to them. Still, if they would like to encorage a decent crowd....
  17. Should we beat Falkirk, they'd potentially fall seven points behind with just 12 left on the table. We'd mebbes not relegate them, but their next game is at Kilmarnock who humped them 3-0 recently....so it'd be as good as.
  18. Some still don't like it but it's a world apart from what we used to get just a few seasons ago. Loadsa good work involved and well deserved.
  19. The best football we ever played in all my time as a 'Well fan was the 5-3 win over Dundee United. Sadly, that game will forever be remebered for the loss of Uncle Phil, but the football played that day was simply magical.
  20. Lappin was an unused sub today for Norwich in their defeat at Ipswich....
  21. Mugger Malcolm. Last seen on a slow boat to Australia...........
  22. Would it have been possible to have this at Fir Park, give the boys a big attendance and even have it on the Saturday? Cracking team, and with Hibs being a good mob too, should be quite a game.
  23. What concerns me is that we, whilst not going down, could end up finishing in a rather depressing position.
  24. Yup. Falkirk v Dunfermline in front of less than 20,000 at Hampden on Saturday (why not at Swinecastle or Easter Road?) then Rangers v Saint Mirren in front of probably less than 30,000 the next day.
  25. If it's at Fir Park, I'd imagine they'll have to make it free entry. Can't imagine too many will appear even at a fiver a head.
