As was I in Finland. Came out of that game against MyPa about as gutted as I have ever been.

Another fine win for the Reserves today.....and a nice, timely omen for Saturday.... Come on Ye Well......! And watch the highlights...... Sultana Telly Thursday 9th April Rongers Telly 21:45 Motherwell v Rangers reserves (7/4)
-
5-1 to the Motherwell - brilliant! I remember we were all chanting that after winning the Masters a couple of years ago. Superb stuff.
-
Rangers looked like they could hardly pass water today never mind the ball. Put in a performance like that on Saturday and surely we can get something from a side lacking in just about everything right now.
-
Clearly has had the desired effect - well done guys!!

If we can get a point next Saturday, the pressure on Hibs in their Monday-night game in Paisley would be huge. And, given Saint Mirren could be bottom by then, their needs would be massive also and being at home that'd surely given them an advantage. I know we have them the following week, but they are clearly far worse on their travels than at home. With Hibs last game before the split at home to Rangers, I still feel we have the upper hand just now. I think if Rangers are playing as poorly as they have been they'd rather be away from home right now. I honestly feel we still have the edge and, even if we lost on Saturday and they win at Paisley, long as we don't go down by many it could still be all to play for the following week. Season most defintely not over by any means.

Aint seen it yet - anyone care to post a pic?
-
Guess it could've been worse today. Hibs were 2-0 up at one point. We just have to have a right go next week.
-
14 chances on goal compared to their six!
-
Looking like we will have to get something next week now.
-
They're down to ten men now. Come on!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Fuxsake. That's simply shite.
-
Half-time and half-way there. Have to see this out.
-
With the way Rangers are constantly going from one self-destructive incident to another, you can't imagine how bad it must be behind the scenes there right now. And that has to filter through to the players on the park. Scoring first next week could make all the difference.

Gaffer speaks about tomorrow....... MM
-
And now United..... Good Win!
-
Given next the fixtures next weekend, it's imperative to me that we must win on Saturday. It could all come down to beating Saint Mirren and then spending a bum-twitching afternoon waiting on the other results.
-
Now 5-2. Yon was a fantastic back-heeler from Stephen McGinn to make it five there!
-
Just scored for Scotland as they currently hump Albania 4-1 at Falkirk. Real rodgering Scotland are giving them as well!
-
Under 19s Twice in a week we've gubbed Saint Mirren, the reserves hammering them 4-0 as well. The first team has to get the hat-trick of gubbings next month!

Manchester City goalkeeper to join Wrexham FC Published Date: 26 March 2009 GUNNAR NIELSON is hoping he can play his part and help revive Wrexham FC's floundering play-off ambitions. The 6'3" Faroe Islands international goalkeeper has joined Wrexham FC on loan from Manchester City until the end of the season and will make his Reds debut against promotion chasing Histon at The Glass World Stadium tomorrow (3pm). And the 22-year-old has pledged to do what he can to put Wrexham back on track after picking up just one win in nine outings. "I heard on Wednsday from our goalkeeping coach Kevin Hitchcock that Wrexham wanted me on loan," said Nielson today. "I thought it would be a good chance to get some competitive games. "I will try and help Wrexham go forward. I know they are trying to get into the play-offs but it has not gone well recently so I will just try my best for them. "There are nine games left and I will do what I can to help them - I want to do well for Wrexham. "It will be a good experience and I am really looking forward to it. I am confident in myself and I want to kick on." After joining Blackburn Rovers in 2007 from Danish club BK Frern, Neilson spent the first half of the current season on loan at SPL outfit Motherwell before returning to the Premiership club. But after leaving Blackburn earlier this year, Mark Hughes, his former manager at Ewood Park, snapped up free-agent Nielson in February and he has signed a deal at City until the summer of 2011. "Mark Hughes knows me and knows what he is getting so I was happy to join City," said Nielson. "I am enjoying it there. I am adapting to being there and learning about the people, and I have played a couple of reserve team games. "When you have seen people like Robinho on television, and then then you are working next to him in training, it is great. "It is a club with great plans and is going places. I will just work hard and see where it takes me." Capped at all levels from under 15's to 21's for Faroe Islands, Neilson was handed his full debut in last Sunday's 2-1 win over Iceland. "It was a local derby and was great to be involved, and to win," added Nielson. Anthony Williams has been between the posts for Wrexham's last five league games, taking over from first choice Gavin Ward. And assistant manager Terry Darracott said it was time for a new face following Wrexham's recent slump in form with the Reds losing their fifth game in nine league outings when they went down 1-0 against Kidderminster Harriers at The Racecourse on Monday. "Our performance on Monday was very good and we were pleased with that but disappointed to let in a late goal," said Darracott. "We have conceded too many goals lately. We created enough chances against Kidderminster, particularly in the first half, but you have got to give yourselves a better chance by not conceding. "It is all down to Mark Hughes for letting Gunnar come here. "We decided we wanted to make changes there and look at someone else. "We've seen Gunnar play and hopefully it works out for him and us. "He is keen to do well for us. We've got nine games in four weeks so it is going to be an interesting period for us."

Derry City are delighted to announce we have secured the signature of Tam Mc Manus on a one season deal Tam is a 28 year old former Hibernian, Dundee & Dunfermline player before moving to the MLS with Colarado Rapids. He is a centre forward that also plays on the right wing. Tam arrives on Foyleside as an out of contract player and, pending international clearance, should be available for next Friday's home League game against Galway United

Nah Keef. It just goes back to January 1st, 1980 on New Years Eve on 31 December 1989.........

August 1981. I'd never been to a football game before, but one of my brothers (Shellic fan) went with his pal (Partick fan) to a league cup tie at Fir Park, and took me along. Had no affinity to anyone at that point, but I somehow instantly fell for the Motherwell bug and was nearly thrown out of the away end I seem to recall. We lost 0-1 and I remember Alan Rough saving a Brian McLaughlin penalty. Went back on my own the next week as we beat Queen's Park 1-0 thanks to a late, late Wullie Irvine header (think he was about two millimetres off the turf when he met the ball) and have been absolutely hooked ever since.

That old joke about everyone in Aberdeen having a watch which always shows the one date, 11 May 1983, is as true today as it was at any time during the last near 26 years!
