Wasn't McSkimming the waste of around £400,000?!??! Pretty sure of it. I was, and still am, angry at McEck going to Hibs. All that pis* about them being a bigger team with more potential at a time when they were favourites for the drop (and, sure enough, down they went). Man had the kind of budgeT McGhee could only dream of, and wasted more or less every penny. Edit - Oh aye, forgot about what he did to us regarding Kid Kirk. Eddie May???? FFS.......

Jan Vinegar...Boyd...any striker with supply lines like that would get a good few goals a season. If Clarky had that kind of supply he'd be there or thereabouts at the top of the goalscoring charts.

It's the reaction we've seen so many times after a successful season. 91-92 was the same, calls for the head of McLean as we didn't win the cup again or follow it up with a run in Europe. Even 94-95, when McLeish took McLean's side to second, there were still some dissenting voices which grew stronger when we got nowhere near the following year. We've no right to demand anything, I almost dreaded this point this time last year, I'd a feeling it'd go like this if we failed to at least equate what we did. And so it has. Anything above the drop is an achievement. Anything else is an absolute bonus. Dundee, Dunfermline, Saint Johnstone, even Partick. Similar sized clubs, all went down, all seriously struggled since. Be grateful for what we have is my philosophy.

Thought I'd just highlight the corners count as it shows just how ineffective we have been from corners the whole season long really.

Important one for us today I'd say, all about pride and professionalism and getting yersel a new contract I guess. Despite the fact the game means more to Falkirk, I fancy us to nick it 2-1 with Clarky boy grabbing both.

We wouldn't need to be 2nd or even 3rd. If teams above us have (or will) qualify then it'll go to the next on the list, so as long as that's us....

2nd and 9th of July, Pie! Early, early start and I imagine close season will resemble what the rest of us have, a mere fortnight off!! Get through that, then you have the 2nd qualifying round 16th and 23rd July. Then the 3rd qualifying round on 30th July and 6th August....all that before the play-off stage on 20th and 27th August. Only then do you get the group stages!! Would take care of the pre-season schedule I guess.

I doubt if Barry Fergusfud and his eejit mate would have any bearing on it unless the UEFA rep actually saw this taking place, his report would have to be submitted before that particular thing broke in the papers I think. But like you say, it's all supposition just now until next week.

Would it be cheaper if you got volunteers to paint the stuff on, 'Flow? If you can, sure they'd be plenty of offers!

I have a strong feeling we'll get this place. And why not, we have been the best behaved in the league to be honest. Shellic may be top, but they have clearly had the advantage of being who they are. Rongers, on the other hand, have at last been taken to task. Shellic have their share of thugs but seem to have the officials being a good deal more lenient with them.

Certainly one has gone now. It was in the Rancid so it must be true... Motherwell have freed Calum Hendrie despite the teenage striker's 14 goals this season for the reserves and Under-19s.
